I visited today needing help with a fair isle project. I had given up hope of finding six colours in good wool. Angela, the owner spent a great deal of time with me helping me to select a group of colours in a fabulous merino wool. I’m waiting for a couple of colours to come on order, and raring to go. A great shop. A curious and wonderful setting for wool. Best I’ve found in years.

This place is magical!! Full to bursting with gorgeous and well priced yarns. Gemma who was working today was so incredibly lovely and helpful with accommodating my walker. She helped reach for yarns and buttons so I could sit, and advised on colour choices for my project. I could spend all day in here chatting with her! A truly excellent store also stocking all the bits and bobs you could need. Looking forward to joining their Wednesday knit and natter some time! They had every single colours of Stylecraft Special DK which made choosing colours for my next project so much fun, and so many other yarns to explore too. Hoping to visit again very soon!

We went to this shop for the first time a couple of days ago. My Nan in law absolutely loved it! She said it was Wool heaven! She said that there was so many different types of wool to choose from she didnt know where to start! She also mentioned that it was one of the best wool shops she has been too. The staff were very lovely and helpful too. We will definitely be visiting again soon.

Lovely little local store, friendly helpful staff and nothing is too much trouble for them. Amazing choice of yarns and if it's not in stock and not out the back, they will order it for you...never had that before brilliant. Staff knowledgeable about knitting and crotchet and offer advice if you get stuck, as they were doing when I was there. They offer a knitting service aswell, and run a Knit and Natter group, there seems to nothing they can't do for their customers... I rarely find service like that! Floor to ceiling with yarn and fabulous range of Stylecraft yarn dk, all colours available. Just heaven for me and my toy knitting.

What a find - a beautiful, quirky little shop with a fantastic array of colour, in yarn, buttons and ribbons. A table and chairs in the courtyard "creche" 😊 Well worth a visit.

The building is so historic. The shop is cosy, and the wool is very reasonably priced. And there's a good range of choice

Love this little store, its lovely and has so much, its very packed in im sure you can find what you want. The lady behind the counter was also very kind and helped us find exactly what we needed, all in all a fantastic little store for all your crafting needs.
