This is a really useful addition to the area - one of those places which is quite small but contains lots of useful things - and they seem happy to get in something you need if they don't have it. Always super-friendly service too.

I had a rather disappointing experience with the Uphone, a phone repair service specializing in Samsung devices. Initially, I approached them for a battery replacement and charging port repair for my Samsung S10, with quoted prices of £35 and £40, respectively. However, upon receiving my phone back within 4 hours, I was shocked to find that the screen had malfunctioned.

Upon returning the device to their technical service, I was informed that an additional £110 would be required for a screen replacement. Their justification was that the screen issue was not their responsibility and, therefore, constituted a separate problem. It's worth noting that my phone had never encountered any screen-related issues prior to their interventions with the battery and port.

This unexpected turn of events, coupled with their refusal to acknowledge any technical problems arising after their initial repairs, left me extremely dissatisfied with their services. It is disappointing to encounter a repair service that not only fails to take responsibility for issues caused during the repair process but also charges extra for problems that were not present before their involvement.

In summary, my experience with the Uphone repair service was marked by poor communication, a lack of accountability, and unexpected additional costs. I would caution others considering their services to exercise caution and explore alternative options.
