Lovely pub in the harbour. Has indoor and outdoor seating. Seems very dog friendly with a complete dog menu. Human menu is Greek/Mediterranean food. Didn’t they the food but will come back sometime as it looked good. Toilets were clean. Staff friendly.

Staff were so kind & friendly, we didn’t make the reservation even thought the restaurant was so full they could accommodate us the seat. Food was quiet, tasty & so fresh. Enjoyed the food & the atmosphere. Very friendly & a happy place.

Friendly pub with welcoming bar staff. Fog friendly as long as they are kept on leads.
Food tasty and prepared quickly, great way to begin or finish a walk. We had two very tasty burgers with chips, a glass of wine and a pint for approx £38.

Popped in for a light lunch after a long walk with the dogs. The food arrived quickly, and was faultless. Really enjoyed the sharing platter, and the kids fish and chips was excellent. Top marks!

Myself and my partner decided to visit here on the 29th of April at around 6pm. From start to finish service from the bar staff, named Harry and Sophie, was nothing short of perfect. Me and my partner did not come out for a big meal but after our delectably spiced and perfectly cooked ‘conquerors chips’ we couldn’t help but treat ourselves to a dessert. I had the conquerors sundae and was absolutely delighted with it! My compliments to the chef and my thanks to Harry and Sophie for their excellent service.

Great quality food and large portions along with good friendly service. The place itself is cosy and well decorated with a nautical theme. Edit..... So good we went back again after two days! Highly recommended!

Great service, great food. We always stop here when visting Rye Harbour. We had the moussaka which comes with a Greek salad.we ordered a side of pitta bread. The menu is a mix of Greek Cypriot and traditional English dishes. Our meal was absolutely delicious. We sat outside to enjoy the good weather. Highly recommend.

We stayed overnight in our camper on the pubs car park and had a lunchtime drink, it was busy and had a relaxed atmosphere.
We also had our evening meal at the William the Concqueror, which was fantastic, and the service was excellent.
We will be visiting again.
Sorry, we had already started eating when we took the pictures.

Had a friend visiting from abroad & specifically brought him here after a walk on nearby Rye Harbour beach & nature reserve. Helpful friendly staff, good selection of local ales and cider. The fish and chips was beautiful quality. An excellent example of the classic English dish. Lovely piece of fish and light beer batter. Clean tasting. There's an honesty to this place, it's not fine dining. Decor is rustic, it's an authentic coastal pub with wooden floors and dog walkers are welcome.

Excellent food in a charming pub. Staff really helpful and friendly, both children and dogs are indeed very welcome. We had the BBQ burger and tiger prawn skewers. Both dishes were full of flavour and freshly prepared. You can either sit outside with beautiful views on Rye harbour (and get up close and personal with the seagulls) or enjoy your food in the newly renovated pub. We'll definitely come back!

A great pub serving good beer and Cypriot-themed menu, plus burgers, fish & chips etc. in a nice location in Rye Harbour. Well worth a visit. Will certainly be coming here again !🙂

This pub is a great and unusual find made more so by the fact that if using the restaurant, the owners allow camper vans overnight use of the pub’s car park. The pub offers rural charm and a warm and cosy interior. There is also a great selection of ales and a menu offering both traditional British and Greek specialities. If in the area for nature walks a stop over is highly recommended.

We were staying in Rye Harbour in a holiday let and booked this pub for dinner on our first evening knowing it was half term and thought it might be busy (which it is, so def worth booking). Great location, lovely friendly staff and delicious food at reasonable prices. Enjoyed our meal so much, we booked for another two evenings during our five night stay which is unusual as we normally like to try different places - enough variety on the menu to keep us wanting to come back again! We ate a selection of dishes between the four of us both from the kids and full menu and both Cypriot and traditional pub dishes and all were served piping hot and very tasty/home made quality. Will def recommend to anyone down in this direction. Book in advance though to avoid disappointment.

This place is a hidden gem. Had lunch today for a pre Christmas meet up with some friends. The menu is mostly Greek based but wow absolutely delicious and very fairly priced. I had a whitebait starter and a chicken souvlaki for main, both decent portions and really tasty. They had a log fire on and we brought our dog. The atmosphere and ambience was lovely. Excellent service as well. Will definitely be returning.
