Loveley breakfast and reasonable pricing, would definitely recommend! Not sure on the negative comments but most comments are not any fault of the cafe

Visited today with my wife for the first time. Excellent Bacon and Sausage Baps, all the food items are very reasonably priced, very friendly staff and owner, good efficient service. Highly recommended and will definitely return.

Very simple, quiet place.
All food prices are very affordable. I don't believe any meal goes above £6, so the food quality should not be expected to be above that. With that said, it's still very good and importantly, filling.
The staff were very polite and helpfull.
The place was quiet, being only myself and another customer at the time, so it was relaxing and quiet.
Some music in the background could do wonders as well as some bigger plates. Especially when theres gravy and rolling peas involved.

If you want a good hearty breakfast in a really clean and friendly place then this is your kind of café. Even if you are looking after your waistline, they even have a SIN FREE cooked breakfast that is excellent, highly recommend.....great food and great value for money and the small team of staff are truly warm, friendly and professional, don't bother with Weatherspoon's or anywhere else if your in Southport, visit CLEVELANDS CAFE, for your best start of the day........or even if you need a good snack in the afternoon.

Lovely home made steak pie. Delicious with peas, veg and gravy. Choice of chips or potatoes 😊 less than £5 been a few times now. Always lovely food served 👍

We often stop at Cleveland's Café if we do a ride out Southport way. You can guarantee a warm welcome from the owners Paul and Jeanne. Matched with home cooked meals, and cake's, and a proper mug of coffee or tea, it's not a wonder they've been running this café for 21 years. Great value, lovely traditional café, superb food and lovely staff. A winning combination.

Lovely cafe, I visit every time I'm in southport. Very nice atmosphere, food is delicious. Will be back again soon

Going to be honest, it looks a bit rough on the outside and the only reason we went in was because it had started raining and we could get in with the wheelchair. But the couple inside are so friendly and really went out of their way to be helpful. We had a bacon sandwich and a full breakfast. Both of which were delicious and as we where leaving they even helped us out of the door. We will be back .

Had take our this morning. Cafe was very busy, the service was first class. The lovely lady serving said I would have 30 minutes wait but the food was well worth the wait. Best full English I have had in years.

I always enjoy Paul’s steak pie, wish I could visit more often. Jeanne made everyone welcome while making sure we all gave our mobile number (or used the app) as she squeezed the antibacterial gel on our hands. Such a lovely friendly atmosphere at Clevelands Cafe. Thank you Paul and Jeanne.

Absolutely love this cafe, every time we visit southport we go here, customer service is fantastic, and the food is absolutely amazing. Always have a chat the lady , she is lovely always made to feel welcome. Highly recommended. Xx

A brilliant little traditional café. Great range of menu items from turkey dinner to sandwiches and scones. Good choice of beverages too. Friendly, polite staff. Excellent service. Please note - cash only.

Honestly love this place. Small but extremely well run and great prices too.
