A must go for some great food, drink and crack, can’t recommend it enough brilliant menus which change regularly. Good deals on steak and wine nights best steaks I’ve had out. Get a table booked you won’t be disappointed, Peter & Kate will look after you.

Attended a taster meal and wine tasting evening. The pub is tucked away in a small village reached by pretty country lanes. Has a large car park and very welcoming staff. The food was plentiful. Much bigger portions than i expected for a taster menu. Wine was well chosen. The evening was very enjoyable. We will def be back to this venue.

Been back several times for meals, and never been disappointed the choice and quality is outstanding.
As the pub is in a small village We stopped the night in their flat over the bar. It was lovely very clean and comfortable.

We had a lovely Sunday dinner here in this dog friendly pub. Also had a lovely pudding

We visited this lovely pub last week as it was my sons 21st birthday and he wanted to try the fantastic burgers as a treat!
We were greeted with a lovely warm welcome and a cosy log fire. The food and service was absolutely lovely and we all had a really nice evening.

Enjoyed Mother’s day lunch time meal. Best roast I have ever had. Hot with loads of slices of meat. Yorkshires were delicious and the staff and owners very attentive. Well done.

Absolutely lovely food and drinks, fantastic local atmosphere reminds me of home! Definitely coming back again in the near future.

My friend who is local to the area has been telling me for ages about this fantastic spot so when we visited I had high expectations- I was blown away. Peter & Kate are extremely welcoming, the staff were very friendly and attentive. We had the steak special- 2 steaks (& sides) and a bottle of wine- well priced and steaks cooked as requested.
The local community of Carol Singers popped in and sang a few in front of the fire which added to the already very festive feeling. I very much look forward to returning.

Let 3 campervans stay over even when they had a beer and music festival on.

Amazing place! Staff were so friendly and accommodating to my vegan diet. They even gave us complimentary nachos with vegan cheese while we were waiting for our food to be cooked. Everything was delicious and every detail was thought about and I already can’t wait to go back! Can’t recommend this place enough!!

Just enjoyed a lovely Christmas night out. Very busy but staff all worked very hard and so professional. Food was wonderful with a good choice. The Landlord, Peter works very hard ensuring everything is done properly and so friendly. What a great team. Well done and Happy Christmas 🎄

Amazing night last night at the Music and beer festival. The place was jumping. We had food which was amazing. We ordered all the tapas light bites menu . Plus gin, wine and fabulous cocktails 🍸. Thankyou to your team for a brilliant night .

Lovely quiet apartment kitty's place all what you need and a breakfast included orange juice cereals and milk with cafetire coffee dogs loved it!

Booked a table for the 17th August. Wow what a find!! Lovely country pub, nice atmosphere. We had a magnificent meal which was great value for money. The staff and the service was superb. So pleased we found you and will call again soon!

More for meat eaters but the 2 vegetarian options were lovely. Will visit again.

Oh my goodness if you get the opportunity do book a table. Smallish menu but food cooked to perfection far exceeded expectations and very reasonably priced. Staff were great

Lovely pub with excellent food. Genuinely friendly and helpful service. The food is definitely a cut above the "pub food" you'll experience in the other pubs in the area.
