Your standard WHSmith' however the staff in this store are amazing! I was on my way to a wedding, having forgotten spare hearing aid batteries, the inevitable happened and my battery died. Having looked all over the store to no avail a member of staff (sorry I didn't catch your name) asked if he could help, I explained my situation to the gentleman who confirmed they do not sell them for him then to offer one of his personal spare batteries, I hadn't noticed he wears aids too. What a gent and hero of the day. Thank you again.

It has all you need but needs to have more

This pinpoint needs correcting. It was 2 miles north. However Google already has a pinpoint northbound and southbound so too many pinpoints. This one needs to go or be merged with one of the existing north or south pinpoints to leave 2 locations

This unit is tidy smaller than some but still alright the staff in there are friendly

You can get what you need but the setting isn't pleasant.

HORRIBLE service in this store. We got 2 drinks that were labelled as a certain price but when the staff member put it through it was more expensive. Instead of fixing the issue, he just asked if we wanted to leave one drink because we questioned the price. Then he was very rude and told us that “obviously” the prices have been changed and he cannot change the cost on the machine.
It was literally a “computer says no” moment.

Then he said it’s not his fault and made out that we were the problem here. It is the staff’s duty to make sure the prices listed in the store are the real cost and that customers should not be overcharged. There was no apology either. This man should not be working in customer service.

The website of WH Smith tells me they sell stamps. Well, they don't, according to the female assistant at the motorway services yesterday, August 25th (Charnock Richard? Southwaite?). After I returned to show her the web page, she unashamedly told me that they had stopped selling them now! Not one bit impressed, and I would be very interested to hear WH Smith's comments.
