Come for the chips alone!!
Off the beaten track, small, local pub with a very warm welcome, some great local beers and outstanding food. The standard of cooking was excellent and the portion sizes were very generous. Everything was very tasty, with really nice quality ingredients, but the star of the show were the chips... exactly like your mum used to make. Highly recommended if you're in the area. You can book ahead to avoid disappointment.

We were staying on the High Hall Farm campsite and wanted to sample some local food and atmosphere. We decide to go to the Blue Bell Inn. Food was fantastic and we loved the portions sizes. Proper home made food, delicious. We also enjoyed a game of pool which we thoroughly enjoyed.

Always lovely food and reasonably priced. Lovely atmosphere- especially when the fire is lit in colder months. Definitely worth a visit

Good old fashioned English pub with good and plentiful food. We have visited on a few occasions and the comments are always relevant. Nice to see a village pub still thriving.
