Stopped by this morning for an Oat Milk Flat White on my day off work. Absolutely fine cup of coffee, it was devine; so smooth. Lovely little Coffee shop also, the staff are always very pleasant, the seating area is always so inviting. A must whenever I'm in Cockermouth

Every time I'm in Cockermouth, I make a point of visiting this coffee shop, always a good coffee, and the sweet treats are now to be missed.

So pleasant! The absolute best hot chocolate I’ve ever had and quick service.
Credit to the young lad working too, so polite and professional - lovely to see.

Great place to come for morning coffees and mid-afternoon cake. Staff & customers alike are all super friendly, in keeping with the whole of Cockermouth.
We tried the carrot cake and the lime cake one afternoon.. they were both delicious!
Will be coming back here for more treats and excellent coffee when I’m visiting again.

THE BEST COFFEE IN LAKE DISTRICT!!

Having survived on costa coffee for the first day, I knew I had found an oasis as soon as I got a sniff of their coffee while walking past.

Perfectly balanced speciality coffee + a very friendly chat with Steven about other great cafe's/local places to visit.

Oh and the vegan lemon drizzle cake was the most deliciously moist vegan cake we have ever had 😍

MUST VISIT CAFE if you are anywhere remotely close to Cockermouth!

Update 2023. Gone really down hill 😕 staff not really interested and on their phones. But watching the staff cutting a slice of carrot cake in half and then seeing me watching and then changing her mind… depressing tbh. It was nice though even a bit mashed up. No apology either.

My dad is a regular here, he goes on about the best coffee on town so I popped down to see him today, I had a flat white and a latte... Exceptional, the DR knows his coffee, I also had a home made sausage roll, it was pure perfection. A cozy little cafe on the main Street, to get your coffee and cake fix, staff are friendly and humble and very welcoming. Would give 6 stars if I could. Thanks and see you again soon! 👍👌😁☕

Delicious hot chocolate and cakes (try the Guinness cake!). Vegan options too. Lovely staff and atmosphere.

I live 16miles away & visit 2/3 times a week always have 3 cappuccinos. Best coffee shop by a country mile, always plenty of people to talk to in there if you make the effort. Coffee is always great, staff are fantastic. Visit you won’t be disappointed

Fantastic little coffee shop. One of the best barista’s I have ever encountered. Obviously loves his job and deserves a medal in customer service. A genuine welcome and great coffee. Could not recommend highly enough.

Top notch coffee. No surprise it seems to have a steady flow of locals. Unfortunately not dog friendly inside - you will need to sit out the front to share coffee time with your pooch.
They sell coffee beans too - either £8 or £10 for a 250g bag, which is quite high...

I love this place. It's my secret sanctuary. It has a real North London villages vibe. Great coffee with dairy free alternatives available. Love the changing interior decor with fresh flowers and stained glass windows. Fab table service with a glass of water given as mandatory.

I don't often leave reviews, but felt I needed to give this lovely cafe five stars after my flying visit this morning. The food was delicious, as was the coffee. Just what I needed. Thank you 😊

Dropped in for a coffee on a rainy March afternoon. Lovely cake (the banana, chocolate and walnut cake we had was delicious), gorgeous coffee and friendly service. Recommended!

GREAT coffee in beautiful small cups. I wish anyone in Leeds offered coffee like that. Of course, scones and cake were needed to complete a great experience. We will be back.

Guinness cake the best I have ever had and coffee was 10/10 too

Visited today. Excellent coffee. Cakes looked good but didn't sample them. Very helpful friendly staff. Lovely atmosphere. Sat in the window watching the world go by.

Brilliant local specialty coffee shop in Cockermouth with homemade cakes and food made with local grown organic vegetables. Worth a trip to if you’re in the Lake District!

First stop as always when we arrive in the Lakes. Coffee, Hot Chocolate and restock the Carvetii 💙☕
