Cappuccino at the WHS Costa in Carlisle station. I had to ask for chocolate, it's normally polite for the member of staff to ask the customer, not hand it to me with the lid on and walk away. I took the lid off and had to go back and ask, and that is how much I got.

The place closes at 6.30 pm during the week, but you can't get a coffee after 6 because they switch off the coffee machine early 'cos they're lazy.

Unhelpful clowns, they should be out of a job.

Go to Costa outside for your coffee, and there's a half-decent newsagents just a little bit further in the same direction.

I would absolutely avoid getting a coffee here! Not very nice is the nicest way to say it

Coffee isn't great. Better off going to the Costa outside or the pumpkin cafe on the opposite platform

Bought sandwiches and cold drink, asked for a paper cup, told they didn't have any, when I pointed to rows of them by the coffee machine, the assistant said I would have to pay a further 45 pence for it!! - rip off, shame on you WH Smith

The staff is deliberately avoiding serving customers - as if they don’t care about the profit at all

Rubbish Staff, who couldn't care less about serving customers. Too busy chatting behind the till. AVOID!
