What a treat. We had a lovely evening enjoying the delicious twist on traditional french cuisine. I highly recommend this place. It is unpretentious without compromising on taste. Great value too!

Only little at the moment but small really is beautiful! A perfectly formed selection of fare; from great coffee and hot chocolate, to sweet (but not too sweet) treats, or freshly made honest soup with savoury bakes. Great pricing, good friendly service, and a lovely feel of having visited a small piece of France on a Scottish High Street

Our whole family Love Chez Raphael! Absolutely delicious food, fantastic, reasonable prices and always a warm welcome and good chat. My 9 year old son said the crepes were so good they much have been hand made my Angels!

Chez Raphaël has a great selection to choose from. I have had the soups, the crepes and many delicious baked goods from here and it never disappoints! I will happily return many times to support such a great place with such great service and products.

When I had their hot chocolate, it was the first time in a while that I had hot chocolate that wasn't too sweet. Their big nutella crepes are also very good, especially after a long day of school, for only £3. For what it is, it's very cheap!

I visited this little gem of a pace for the first time recently and ordered the soup to go. It was white cabbage, parsnip and Tarragon and came with 2 Gougeres. It was all absolutely delicious!
Emmanuel is so warm and friendly and clearly has a passion for his food. I was excited to hear he is planning to expand soon to a full French Deli.
i’ll definitely be back and would absolutely recommend this wee gem of a place.

This French Baker is wonderful! Today I had madeleines au citron, gougères and cake aux olives. Everything is so delicious, being freshly made. Can’t wait until the expansion plans for a bakery by the end of the year are complete. Great for Laurencekirk!

First visit for me, had a Nutella and banana crepe and it was lush! There was a delicious smell of the savoury bakes when I walked in and it all looked so fresh and homely!

Lovely staff, food is amazing and at a great price! The waffles and crepes are to die for, they even let us try some chouquettes for free and they were amazing!

Amazing crepes, lots of different fillings such as milk caramel and Nutella. Delicious soup and gougeres and the madeleines are great with a cup of tea. Staff are very helpful and friendly.

Really friendly, great for kids too. Open all the time which is helpful for after school and weekends. Love the homemade and fresh food! Highly recommend!
