Aaran Guesthouse on Weymouth Beach

Wonderful stay. Cosy room with an fantastic view. 100% would come back. The lady who welcomed us was absolutely delightful. A comfortable bed with a good amount of pillows, first time I've ever had that experience while travelling.

Hyacinth was wonderful, greeting me when we first arrived. Check in was at 1 but we got her early about 10 am on Wednesday, room was ready and we got given a permit for parking which, like the hotel was in a prime location and within walking distance of everything in weymouth. Would highly recommend for views, location, and staff :)

Denise and Jim were , very friendly and made sure that our stay was perfect. The breakfast was freshly cooked using local farm food and it was delicious. The portions were huge. On top of the Full English were fruit, yoghurt cereal and juice.
The whole place was immaculate and cleaned daily. The bedroom was roomy, comfortable and well presented.
Couldn't fault any aspect of the house.

This place is brilliant ask for room number 1 then you look straight across to the beach, the breakfast was excellent, good sausages! We left feeling rather full. Parking not great very nearby but plenty of parking at the Pavilion carpark a 2 min walk away

We've been staying at Aaran house for a few years now both with a fishing group and with the other half and there's a reason for that! We keep on coming back because of the warm welcome you get from Jim and Denise each and every time, the guest house is always clean, the rooms always look great and the views from either the front or back are amazing. Personally I like the view over the harbour. Room 4 has an en suite with a shower with toiletries, there's tea and coffee facilities in the room, the beds are very comfy too. The breakfasts are excellent as they are fresh and made to order, all ingredients are locally sourced and/or of high quality. Tea and coffee by the pot, toast, cereals and fresh fruit, these breakfast really do set you up for the day. Speaking of which, Jim and Denise are a wealth of local knowledge and are more than happy to share that if you need to know anything. Perfect location and perfect hosts, what more can you ask for? Can't wait to go back, see you in June 👌

We booked this place and boy are we glad we did. What a lovely warm welcome we had. Very chatty and very helpful. Will definitely be coming back again soon and this time for longer... p.s thw brekkie was lush

What a fantastic place to stay.

Right from our lovely, warm welcome from Jim and Denise, to the amazing high quality food served every morning. Then there's that view from our room right across the bay, stunning!

The hotel is a very high standard in a fantastic location. Very close to all that Weymouth has to offer.

There's loads of special little touches, like fresh milk available 24/7, the honesty fridge for soft drinks.. and the chilling of our prosecco for our journey home!

We can't wait to return and would be delighted to recommend Aaran Guest House to all our family and friends.

We had the best time when myself and my boyfriend stayed here. The owners are lovely and so welcoming! The Guesthouse is clean with good amenities and if we needed anything they were there to help whenever! It made a big difference to our stay and it was very well recieved! So thank you!

We stayed at Aaran guesthouse for a birthday treat we received a warm welcome from Denise and her husband . Our room was small but clean and comfortable with lovely views of the sea . The breakfast was I have to pay the best breakfast we have had in a bed and breakfast and nothing was too much trouble . Thank you for making our stay a great one !

We spent a week here and had a great time . Our hostess Denise was a very nice lady and very helpfull . Our room overlooked the harbour what a great view . Because of covid it was continental style breakfast only it was left outside the door and had a great choice. Would definatly go there again.

We stayed a week this time. What wonderful hosts Jim and Denise are. Very welcoming. Nothing to much trouble.The guesthouse views from rooms are great. You either have a harbour or beach view. Tea, Coffe, Hot Chocolate, and Biscults in the rooms. The Aaron Guesthouse is very clean and pleasant. Breakfast menu is very good alot of choice.
We've stayed here quite a few times and it is a home from home. Value for money 10/10

What a great stay

We have enjoyed our stay at aaran house. No wonder its busy. Our friends recommended the guesthouse - how glad we are we took there advice. It’s a cosy b&b but the views are fabulous and the breakfasts so yummy and generous The rooms are nicely decorated and very clean everything you need plenty tea/coffee water , plenty of towels the breakfast is great and plentiful denise and jim are friendly helpful and will chat with you cant wait to come again next year . I think you would need to book early or you will miss out on a gem of a place

Arran House is the best B& B on the south coast from position and views, to Jim and Denise’s lovely personality, to their wonderful breakfast and spotless rooms.
Heather and I have been staying here for 10 years now and we wouldn’t stay any where else.

Me and my mom stayed here last time we were in Weymouth such a beautiful hotel perfect views in any room as we have stayed here a few times Jim and Denise are so lovely 💕 and really do make your holiday spotless clean and always a lovely cooked breakfast hope to see you all soon 👍
