The Wadham

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Wadham with Tracie and Ian. They are so nice, approachable and welcoming and are more than happy to help with things such as parking etc when you arrive. The room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast was tasty too!

Overall a great experience and I've no doubt I'll be back. Thanks Tracie & Ian!

Excellent guest house right on the harbour and within short walks to beach , shops, bars and restaurants. Ian and Tracey were absolutely wonderful. So friendly and helpful. Excellent full cooked breakfast. Room was modern with a comfy bed and lovely fluffy quilt and pillows. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to friends and family.

Had a fantastic stay at The Wadham. Our room with a king sized bed was spacious and tastefully decorated, with everything you would possibly need, The B&B is perfectly situated just a few steps away from the harbour which has an abundance of places to eat & drink. Tracie & Ian are the perfect hosts, even gave us a couple of pieces of cake from the Sunflower Cafe to take away with us, with was a lovely gesture. Would definitely stay here again and will be recommending to all our family & friends.

Just a good, honest, British b&b.

Rooms, very comfortable with up to date fresh furniture, comfortable and clean, and with everything you need. Thoughtful touches like plenty of clean good quality towels, coffee with plenty of refills and biscuits, bottles of water - all included.

Service is top notch and friendly. Two very friendly cats will welcome you (don't worry, they're not allowed in the rooms and the communal areas are very clean - I'm allergic to cats but had zero issues).

Breakfast was prompt, tasty, and exactly how I ordered.

Location is great, right by the harbour where I needed to be - and easy walking to all nearby attractions. Pub accross the road is a little noisy - but suspect many locations in Weymouth will have similar issues.

Parking on Weymouth is a nightmare (no fault of the b&b) but Ian and Tracie are on hand to help figure out a solution.

Prices very reasonable.

Great place to stay…! Firstly really lovely people that run the hotel and are really helpful and kind. I stayed in a king size bedroom that was on the top floor, which was great. The little things are really well thought out like the hand soap, shower gel / shampoo and conditioner is really lovely to use. I have really sensitive skin and it did not make me feel irritated at all. Room really clean and tidy, the decoration is lovely. There is lots of extra T and drink on each floor saving you going up and down the stairs to get bits if you need them. I could not fault the breakfast, the scrambled egg are out of this world and I mean Michelin Star level no joke. Great selection of all hot drinks and chilled water with lemon, yogurt with fruit compot which is all lovely… all together I would say it felt like a home away from home, love this place 5 stars from me….

Very pleasant one night stay at The Wadham Guesthouse in Weymouth. Traccie and her husband were very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and tidy with everything you need available. Would stay again and recommend it to friends and family .

Tracie and Ian are the most thoughtful and friendly hosts you will ever come across, from useful information beforehand through to help with parking and baggage storage, they could not do enough for us. The house is very well located in the centre of Weymouth and a 2 minute walk from Catch/ Weyfish. The rooms are cosy as you might expect in a historic building but have everything you need. I would thoroughly recommend any couple visiting the area to stay at the Wareham.

I had such a lovely stay at the Wadham- Ian and Tracie are wonderful hosts, the room was comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated and breakfast was delicious- 5 * all round!

This was our second stay after having first visited in summer 2022, and had such a pleasant first stay we decided to return. Our stay this September did not disappoint! The rooms were very comfortable and nicely decorated. The hotel’s location is next to none in Weymouth - right in the heart of town by the seafront and the harbour. Finally, the stay was made extra special thanks to the hospitality of the owners - Tracie & Ian. They anticipated our every need, accommodated all our requests and were absolutely lovely hosts the entire weekend. Could not recommend The Wadham more!!

We loved everything about this place! Seriously, there is nothing not to like. The property is a beautiful old Georgian building which has been renovated exceptionally well, it is super clean, the amenities are great and the location is perfect for exploring Weymouth (just 30 seconds from the harbour). The owners, Tracy and Ian are very friendly and helpful, and have thought of everything that you might need, including hair straighteners in the room, filtered water, biscuits and tea coffee etc. with refills available outside your room. The rooms have beautiful bedding and decor, fantastic quality towels and they will give you a parking permit so you can park outside the property. We will definitely return!

My friend and I enjoyed a wonderful two night stay at The Wadham, a beautiful Georgian building within a stone's throw of the Esplanade. The building and rooms are immaculately maintained and spotlessly clean - every last detail in the room has been thought of, we felt incredibly well looked after by the wonderful hosts Tracie and Ian. The Wadham manages to strike the right balance between luxury and homeliness, we really felt like we were coming home when it was time to retire for the evening! Sumptuous bedlinen, towels and toiletries added to the overall experience. The Wadham is also blessed with a fabulous location - within easy walking distance of the beach, cafés and fabulous restaurants, but the rooms themselves are calm and peaceful. 100% recommended!

Fantastic hotel probably the best we stayed in on our two week trip! Great location close to the beach and shops, very well presented and cosy room with lots of small homely touches - great choice with the sandalwood soap!, friendly and attentive hosts, delicious breakfast. Strongly recommended if you're in the local area and need a place to stay!

My Dad has been coming to The Wadham several times a year for several years. It's in a great location, the rooms are super comfortable and he gets a fantastic cooked breakfast every day. Tracie looks after him so well and he feels so welcome to come back year after year. It's also great peace of mind for me to know that Tracie is looking out for him and will call me with any problems. Thanks so much!

A comfortable stay and a decent breakfast at The Wadham. Travelling for work for 1 night, I booked direct. I intentionally chose a smaller room but it was adequate and well-equipped. The friendly owners were on hand to provide local recommendations. I would certainly return.

This place is amazing and already planning our next visit. Spotlessy clean, homely, everything you need in a room.
Close to the Harbour a stones throw away actually. Fabulous location.
Tracie and Ian really are wonderful hosts nothing is to much trouble for them. Helpful from the first point of contact and our departure.
We Really could have stayed the week, but work bekons unfortunately.
We Love weymouth but we love it a little more now we have found this little Gem of a place.
