The Ocean Guest House

We stayed for my birthday and Maxine was incredible very accomodating and welcoming and would definitely stay again need to try ever room as there is so much variety to the decoration. This is definitely a unique place to stay that will leave you with fond memories.
A 2 minute walk from the pavillion so close to parking and the theatre. Host is incredibly welcoming and has put her heart and soul in to creating an incredibly unique experience and a quirky place to stay. Each room has a different theme and decor. Rooms are immaculate and very comfy with great views of either the beach or the harbour.
There is a breakfast room and bar downstairs operated on an honour system so plenty of room to relax and have a drink with friends.

Stayed at the ocean last weekend, had an amazing time, Maxine was so lovely,friendly and welcoming, as were her staff, the b&b was really homely, our room was beautiful, had everything you needed and bed was really comfy, wonderful view looking out over the harbour. Breakfast was lovely, with plenty to choose from. We would definitely recommend the ocean and look forward to returning. Thanks very much

We had the perfect stay at The Ocean and cannot wait to return. The room was gorgeous. Loved the decor. The view over the harbour was absolutely gorgeous. What a lovely sight first thing (even eith clouds and rain). Little boats going in and out the harbour. Very peaceful too.

The cooked breakfast (veggie for me) was super tasty. Nothing to complain about during our stay. Although I do think other guests should try and be a little quiet after 11pm when coming back to their rooms.

Love Weymouth and cannot wait to return.

Had the most wonderful stay here again! Can not fault this beautiful b&b in the perfect location. Rooms are spotless and the host is friendly and super accommodating. Will be rebooking for our next trip to Weymouth.

We stayed at the Ocean guest house during the seafood Dorset festival, 9th and 10th September, 2023, in room 9. The customer service was so lovely from the off. Maxine is so kind. Our room was lovely, with the best views along the harbour. We can't wait to come back next year. Thank you, Maxine 😊

Lovely stay in this brilliant guesthouse. Maxine truly made it a trip to remember. Clean and tidy accommodation, lovely breakfast on the terrace, beautiful location and view. Will definitely be back!

First time staying in a guest house, and this one was excellent . The room was lovely, the bed was so comfy and the views were priceless. Everything was in walking distance and we didn’t use the car once. The host Maxine was delightful and so welcoming. Breakfast was yummy. We wanted to stay another night, but it was fully booked. Going back again in September .Would 💯 recommend. ❤

Beautiful room with exceptional hosting. Lovely forget me box that was a nice touch. Food was really tasty and the waitress was very attentive. Maxine is a treasure. Rooms were very clean and to a high standard. Will definitely be back again.

Stayed here with a group of friends for our annual young farmers south west area convention, Maxine was amazing, catered for us very well considering just having an operation. Rooms were immaculate! And she welcomed us amazingly! Will definitely go back for a holiday and hopefully stay for the next SWA in couple years time! Perfect place for a holiday here!

2nd stay here - Once again an excellent stay with Lynn's fantastic hospitality.
The room was lovely and the breakfasts have been fantastic each morning as well.
The B&B is in a great location with harbour/beach views.

The addition of the bar is a fantastic idea and it was great to use on this occasion, as well as feasting on the free cake which is freshly made by Lynn.

Overall, another faultless stay and we really enjoyed our 9 nights in Weymouth at The Ocean!

My husband and I stayed in this guest house for a weekend break, and it was an excellent choice. The host (maxine) was lovely, she made us feel welcome our whole visit. Breakfast was great 👍. We cannot wait to stay again.

3 Nights here with wife. Absolutely fabulous stay. Owner, Lyn is a very lovely friendly lady and her full English if probably the best we've ever had. Hotel is situated in a great position near to harbour, beach and all the shops and restaurants. Will definitely stay again.. Loved it....

First class. Thoroughly recommend it. Lovely room ,delicious breakfast and great view of harbour. Nice outside space to relax and soak up the atmosphere. The proprietors are lovely people. Very reasonably priced.

If you are ever looking for a great place to stay, look no further than The Ocean Harbourside Guest House. It sits in our opinion in one of the best places along the Weymouth promenade, parking is covered within the cost of your stay. Although parking can be a little difficult in getting one close to this lovely guest house in the high season, it's still worth it. The views are spectacular with a choice of overlooking the sea front or overlooking the harbour, both views are beautiful. The host Cathy made us feel very welcomed, she made us feel like it was own home for those few days we stayed. Roger & Claire, Milton Keynes
The cooked breakfast was excellent and plentiful, Cathy and her staff couldn't have done anymore to make our short stay a memorable one. We are both easy going people, honest and we hope you like our feedback to make it easier for your choice in choosing a great stay at this lovely guest house.
Lastly, if you choose this lovely guest house make sure you have either a coffee/tea with breakfast on the sun terrace overlooking the harbour.
