Cornish Bakehouse

Spotted this place walking through Bath on a visit to England, and with a sign that said world’s best pasties I had to give it a go.

Did not disappoint!!! Ran in and said to the server who gave me a friend greeting what’s your favourite, he said hands down you had to get the bacon chicken chorizo and I said I’ll take it! Within 15 seconds I was biting into pure deliciousness! Next time i am in Bath this will be a go to for me!!!

This place is incredible, they gorgeously perfect sausage roll pastries to have the perfect golden pastry with a satisfying crunch and a gorgeously devine sausage inside cooked at the perfect warmth with a couple benches outside to eat in the sun, or to be taken wherever a person wishes

Incredibly friendly staff who know exactly how to perfect a sausage roll, not even getting started on everything else. 15/10 Stars, would absolutely adore to recommend to all and share its devine deluxe taste.

Needed a quick snack and fancied something reasonably priced that I could have on the go. Service was speedy and friendly. Went for the cheese and onion pasty, which was £4.15. Was very tasty and quite filling, which did me fine.
There is plenty of choice to suit most people.

Small place with a huge selection of pastries.
Fresh with good ingredients.
It is only for take-out, but there are lots of seats along the street that you can use.

Very good beef pasty. My hubby and I split a medium size for lunch. Great flavor and the crust had good texture. Compares favorably to those from Mackinac Island and Mackinaw City but a better crust.

The young guy that served us, tall, dark (kind of curly hair) has amazing customer service consistently. On the till bit at 10am 13th June

The staff are a pure delight. With one exception, they are always smiling, friendly, and incredibly accommodating.

Price-wise; fantastic - I rarely eat dinner and often skip breakfast so often opt for a big lunch to tide me through the day and for £7 I can pick up a drink, one of their varied (all equally delicious) wraps, a Steak or Chicken & Mushroom bake, a Cheese & Bacon bite, a sausage roll, and a drink to boot! If I tried that anywhere else (even Greggs!) not only would the food actually not be as enjoyable as the food provided at Cornish Bakehouse, but I'd be incredibly lucky to keep it under £10!

A special shoutout goes to a lovely lady with dark hair who I can only assume is the manager; she explained as I was ordering a Bacon Roll with a Hash brown and Mushrooms that sadly, as the demand is so low, they very rarely order any mushrooms.. Perfectly reasonable and understandable - but upon my next visit, I was informed that she had ordered, specifically for me, a small supply of mushrooms so I could enjoy them in my breakfast bap. This really made my day, and Cornish Bakehouse are always my go-to lunch option because of it!

I don't know what they do to the pasties, but these are sooo nice! And I always go for a chocolate donut - Hmmmm! Quick and efficient service, my goto food shop in Bath!
