Incredible example of Georgian Architecture. One of the best spots in the city with its unique look.
There aren't many cars diving around which makes this place pretty calm and therefore nice to visit.

The Circus has great architecture and is well kept only a 5 minute walk from the Royal Crescent, so it makes sense to have a look

The weather was fabulous when I visited. Sat under the shades of the plane trees and the cold breeze made a very relaxing afternoon. It was not busy at all compared to the greens in front of the royal crescent.

Fun to see this work of art in architecture. Knowing that father and son created magnificent dwellings. Views of the massive circle and room to roam.

Lovely Georgian architecture. We stopped by on a rainy and cold day yet the view was still beautiful. We had a guided tour which helped us better understand the architecture (such as the 108 acorns on the roofs which relate to a story of pigs and the history of how John Woods the younger had to complete the project). Overall a great stop while in Bath.

Beautiful area, that’s well worth a visit!

Lovely Georgian townhouses that look amazing. Once you’ve had a look (or sat in the middle under the massive trees), it’s only a 10 minute walk to the Royal Crescent where you can relax in the open park.

I think that for any admirers of great architecture (something that Bath as a city has in abundance), a visit to the Circus should be high on the bucket list.

Week one of life after lockdown restrictions being eased saw us having a few days away in the city of Bath. Staying at No. 25 The Circus provided a great location for easy access to all areas of the city. No. 25 is a fantastic apartment that can be rented out for holidays and is on the 1st floor of this wonderful building.

The apartment is superbly furnished and very in keeping with the style of the building offering plenty of comfort and ‘class’ to your stay.

The Circus is a historic ring of large townhouses in the city of Bath, forming a circle with three entrances. Designed by architect John Wood and was built between 1754 and 1768, and is regarded as an outstanding example of Georgian architecture.

If you are looking to spend some time away in Bath then don’t hesitate looking to stay at No. 25 The Circus.

The Circus is an astonishing example of Georgian architecture at its finest, along with the Royal Crescent.

Georgian architecture at its finest and central to the circular grounds in front there is massive tree. In Regency times this was a flat, paved area. Nearby is the even more impressive Royal Crescent. These area are only a short walk from the centre of Bath. Today, being in Winter the tree was bare.

The circus buildings in Bath, UK, are a stunning architectural masterpiece, completed in 1768. These unique structures have stood the test of time, hosting a variety of circus performances and cultural events. Bath's circus buildings are a testament to the city's rich heritage and continue to captivate visitors with their grandeur and historical significance.

But as we delight in the entertainment, let us not forget the historical significance of circus slaves, whose contribution shaped its captivating traditions.

The Circus, a circle of architectural beauty! Sandstone multistory houses surround a island of green grass and trees. They sure knew how to make aesthetically pleasing buildings way back then. There isn't actually much to do apart from enjoy the sights here. Walk a little further and you will see the famous Royal Crescent!

If you’re planning on visiting put it on your list and if you’re planning on staying try to get an apartment here. It’s the perfect location to explore and is clearly full of character. It’s nice to see tourists exploring and people sitting beneath the trees. Really nice atmosphere. I’d definitely visit and stay again.

The Circus is a historic ring of large townhouses forming a circle with 3 entrances. Designed by architect John Wood it was built between 1754 and 1769 and is regarded as a pre-eminent example of Georgian architecture. “Circus” means a ring, oval or circle in Latin.

We stumbled across this on our way to the famous crescent, it was lovely and peaceful.
We saw that there was a second floor flat in the Circus for sale in a very close by estate agents for £500,000. I hate to think how much an entire 6 floor house would be, 2 floors below road level and 4 above.
