Wonderful charity shop with lots of thing for sale for,a great cause

Awful manager! We came a few months ago as we were visiting Bath with our 1 year old. Brought some wooden toy cars for our little one that you piece together. Went across the road for a drink and got them out for our little one to play to realise a lot of parts were missing and that they did not even make one complete car. Went back, spoke to a lovely assistant/ volunteer who said she would need the manager to authorise the refund. Lets just say, considering this is a charity shop, they could not have a more pompous, unempathetic woman running it. She first started saying, "its only £3.50 what do you expect a Brillo toy." I was absolutley gob smacked. She proceded to talk down to me and even made a comment on my accent. You are no better than anyone lady, yes we shop in charity shops to support charity e.t.cand can more that afford Brillo toys for my little one, but what an attitude. I left in tears, as someone who suffers with mental health she pushed me over the edge. My partner went across, unconfrontational and she went and hid in the back theb eventually came out and twisted the whole event and lied. Even the volunteer said to my partner how rude she was. Avoid at all costs and take your charity elsewhere to a shop that appreciates it!!
