Stage 2 Studios

We’ve rehearsed in maybe ten different places over the years. This one ticks ALL the boxes. The rooms are sound treated, so it doesn’t sound awful like it does in most places, even when playing loud with valve amps. There’s air-con - makes a big difference when you’re in there for more than an hour, or if the guitarist had a full English that morning. The loo is clean, nice and fully functioning. And you can buy a coffee and borrow stuff like leads.

Stage 2 Studios is one of the best and most personable places a Bath/Bristol local could spend their band practices at. Dan and co. are endlessly welcoming, and Josh a brilliant producer who did two of my band's EPs. All wrapped up in an inspiringly artful package, I'd recommend it to anyone.

Fantastic studio and rehearsal rooms. Well equipped with friendly and helpful staff, would highly recommend to any bands.

Great air conditioned room and facilities. Really helpful guy at the front helped set stuff up etc and didn't seem to mind that I didn't know what I was doing. Parked literally right outside. Cheap as well. Definitely will be back.

A great studio just outside the centre of Bath. With the best rates around, you can’t go wrong!

The room prices vary depending on which room you use as they vary in size. However depending on what day / time it is, you can also get a slightly cheaper price for hire.

Great selection of snacks and drinks if you’re feeling a little hungry or in need of sugar after rehearsals.

An absolute gem of a studio for both rehearsing and recording. There are 3 fully equipped rooms which have all been acoustically treated and all sound great at both high and low volumes levels. Back line kit comes as standard and they have a great range of amps, heads and cabs so you can even get to try out different combinations to get your tone just right. That’s just the rehearsal side of things. The studio is high end and comes with a fantastic studio engineer. In the past I’ve recorded full albums there as well as laying down quality demos for pre production work. The staff are knowledgeable, super friendly and above all, really passionate about their work and studio. It is this that shines through most and makes the place an inspiring environment to create in. Which ultimately, is what it’s all

Stage 2 Studios is a rehearsal space I have used with multiple musical projects for 4+ years now and each year they have made the greatest efforts to upgrade the studios with amazing equipment that makes the space well worth the price of admission. Not to mention how incredibly friendly and helpful the team are. I will continue to rehearse at this space for as long as I'm in the area!

We had our first practice in MANY years here last week. Couldn't fault this place in any way. Everything was clean and tidy, all the equipment was quality (and it worked), the chap who was working was extremely helpful, polite and professional. We travelled from Bristol to practice here and glad we did. Just booked our next practice here for next week!

Stage 2 and staff have always made maximum effort to deliver a good quality service. Run by people who know the music scene, recently surviving lean times during covid through determination alone. Top people, great studio 👍

Top notch facilities and extremely friendly and helpful staff. We recorded both our EP and debut album there and the whole experience was fantastic. The place to go to for rehearsals, recording and great advice.

We spent a weekend encamped in Stage 2 Studios recording our first EP in July 15. I cannot recommend the studio enough; professional, full use of some excellent gear, great facilities and a top notch final product. The Manager Dan and the Engineer Ben not only made us feel welcome, but helped guide us through the recording session with some excellent input and recommendations.

Been coming here for a long time now to rehearse and record. Great staff and great atmosphere and a strong pillar in the community.

Stage 2 Studios have provided Bath Guitar School with fantastic rehearsal facilities, fully equipped with back line gear, all included in the price, and the best service you can imagine. Highly recommended!

Wicked place to both rehearse and record! Dan runs the place very well, and having Josh of Phoxjaw as their in house engineer/producer is a massive plus. Reasonable prices too for the facilities!

You couldn't wish for anywhere more professional, friendly and supportive to rehearse and/or record at. There's a reason why our band has been using Stage 2 Studios for 10 years!

This is a brilliant studio. Good quality gear, air con, good coffee and nothing is too much trouble for the staff. Can't reccomend highly enough!
