We've been visiting the Oldfield Park Bookshop since it opened. Harry is a fount of knowledge and can suggest titles for any age group from small children to 'older' readers if you ask. It's just what a bookshop should be. And Harry is a lovely chap as well.

This is the best book shop! They're so friendly in the shop and can talk about any books. I e-mail them to check if they have what I want or ask them to order it for me and pick it up the next day - easier than Amazon Prime!

Incredibly friendly, accommodating and helpful. Excellent and speedy ordering. Harry is so knowledgeable he can even divine the books I want from the sometimes vague descriptions I give! A valuable community service!

This is a very cute, tidy little shop. It's deceivingly small size houses a vast array of various books for all ages and of all genres.
The main shop owner is a man of encyclopedic knowledge about every book you buy and can also order in a book for you, should you have the relevant information, often at extremely competitive prices.
Well worth just having a browse and a chat... Perhaps join the book club?

I love this bookshop, lovely selection of books on offer as well as postcards and books published by local authors or set in local places near to Bath. It is a small shop but quite cosy. Can easily ask the booksellers (Harry and Philip) to order a book from their suppliers which take a day or two to arrive
All on one level, easy access and parking on the street outside is available. Can also be reached by the number 1 bus (Southdown) or the number 8 bus (Kingsway). The railway station at Oldfield Park is nearby.
