Bath Old Books

Fabulous little bookshop. I was very happily lost poking among the shelves here. Enjoyed chatting with the man behind the register, who took a moment to share a memory of meeting the author of the book I was buying.

This is the loveliest bookshop I've ever been in. Such an amazing collection of wonderful books, from all periods of the past. There's something for everyone here, and it's a great small business to support

This is one of the best bookshops I've ever been in. The owner is such a lovely man. He made us feel welcome and allowed us to explore the shop, which we did I found 4 books I really liked, I even got a little discount.

Absolutely the most marvellous book shop. Nigel was so helpful, so knowledgeable. The shop looks small, from the outside, but when you get inside, wow, beautiful books everywhere. Go downstairs, and more books. I didn't want to leave.

I could happily live in here. So many amazing books! What makes this old bookshop extra special? That the staff understand that people like to browse and don't want to be followed around being asked if they can be helped. I was acknowledged when I entered, thanked for my purchase and allowed to be on my way. Now THAT is how all bookshops should be.

Excellent store with very interesting collection of fiction downstairs. Peace and quiet is a welcome break from the city centre chaos, and the owner is friendly without intruding. Great place with some really unique old books.

As an amatuer antique book collector, I came in from the States hoping to find some additions to my collection. Though I went to many shops around the Island, none was more enjoyable than Bath Old Books. Friendly and helpful staff that reminded me how fun hunting for old books is. Great selection of other books too.

This shop is my idea of heaven - a wide range of interesting, reasonably priced old books on a beautiful street, run by a wonderfully friendly man.

An excellent 2nd hand bookshop in centres of Bath, just off the Circus and Royal Crescent. A must visit for is whenever we're in Bath.
