Lovely place with a very friendly staff. The food was great.

Had a birthday dinner here this evening. The food was delicious and the staff were attentive and kind. The service was excellent and, even with a full house, the food delivery was very timely. Can't fault it. Would definitely recommend to others.

As suggested by the name, a super potentially sunny courtyard with a few tables outside a cosy restaurant catering to all diets inside. I am glad I had a go at The apfelküchel, a delicious experience! For the high standard it is surprisingly inexpensive!

Amazing little place off the main road, it feels like a hidden gem and it really is. The food was delicious and they even went out of their way to make something off menu for our son. Staff were lovely and the price was spot on. Will come again hopefully soon.

Lovely little gem of a restaurant. Very accommodating and beautiful and tasty local produce served. We visited with two young kids and they were so happy to make sure they felt welcome too. Well prepared for covid19 and making sure customers are kept safe.

Today was our first visit to the courtyard. There were limited options for children however we ordered the chicken strips which came with salad and fries. My kids were not disappointed and cleared their plates. Staff were extremely accommodating with my dietary requirements and were happy to make substitutions to meet my needs. They were also very helpful making recommendations for desserts that would be suitable for me. The restaurant was clean, staff were very helpful and accommodating and the food exceeded our expectations. We will definitely be back.

This place is worthy of a great review. I visited for a meal with my parents for their golden anniversary - we were a table of ten. If you like good food that's perfectly cooked in a relaxed atmosphere with excellent service at a very reasonable price then this the place for you.

My friend and I visited for lunch while on holiday from the states. We agreed that this was the best meal we had during two weeks in Scotland. We greatly enjoyed the German food, drink, and desserts and the service was friendly and attentive. We can’t recommend The Courtyard highly enough. It’s obvious that everyone involved is highly invested in making an excellent dining experience.

Everything done right. Excellent food, excellent service and excellent covid management with face shields, maintained distancing, good fresh air ventilation and collecting contact tracing details. Job well done !

We went to The Courtyard for our Golden wedding anniversary meal , the food was exemplary, the staff and service could not have been better , the atmosphere was so relaxing. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who loves good food , good wine an good company . We had a table of 10 and everything went very smoothly 👌

We were in Cupar on holiday for a week and visited this fantastic restaurant 3 times, which speaks for itself. The food was exceptional, the staff were friendly and attentive and the prices were very reasonable. We just wish this restaurant was closer to home, we would be regular visitors.
