Ironbridge Fish & Chips

We visited during a school residential. The staff catered for thirty two children and three adults with efficiency and with a smile. All the staff were friendly and went the extra mile to make us feel welcome. The children were given lollipops after their food as well as an impromptu karaoke which was enjoyed by us all. Could recommend more and we will definitely be back!

My first time trying out this fish and chip joint in Ironbridge was a hit! Ordered two big portions of cod and chips, mushy peas, and four lattes. The food was top-notch – the fish had that perfect crispy batter, and the service was top-notch. Overall, a fantastic experience!

I really like this fish and chip shop! I've been coming here about once a month for a couple of years, and it hardly ever lets me down. The food is tasty, and the place is clean and nice to sit in when the weather's not great outside. The staff are also really friendly.

Excellent customer service here, made to feel very welcome. Cost of the food was very reasonable too. We ate in and the server gave us a Knife and fork each and asked us to take a seat and they would bring to us. We ordered a large bag of chips and a large sausage each. The chips we amazing, un-battered original British chips, just like I remember as a child. The sausage was also amazing, full of great flavour, not the cheap kind of sausage with horrible taste and soft texture. Overall, I would use here without any hesitation and recommend to all my friends. Can say we have been here a few years ago and the service and food was exactly the same. I would also recommend visiting on a warm summers day as they have a beautiful outdoor seating area overlooking the river. Thanks so much and will visit here again soon, great little restaurant.

The fish and chips were really good, and the portions were quite generous. The service from the girls was fast and they were really friendly. The lady at the counter was also very nice. If I ever find myself back in Ironbridge, I know where to go.

We were in the mood for some takeaway food, but we weren't feeling fish, so we ended up going for some tasty chicken tikka and chips. Let me tell you, the food was top-notch - it was hot, flavorful, and just hit the spot. And the service? Absolutely fantastic. The young man and lady who took care of us were so kind and helpful. They didn't rush us and even let us try a bit of the chicken before we made our final decision. We left feeling satisfied and happy. Honestly, we can't wait to go back and enjoy another meal there during our next trip to Ironbridge.

Excellent food, nice staff, there is a balcony you can sit on, at the back, overlooking the river, (balcony access closes 8pm) to eat at no extra cost. Good choice on the menu, we had a very large haddock 😁 nice chips and curry sauce. Public toilets are just accross the road. I find the best place to park is the carpark on the other side of the iconic Ironbridge, by the station pub... then walk over the bridge and it's very near by.

The food here is consistently fresh and delicious, and the staff are really friendly. Even though there are other fish and chip shops along the way, we always choose to come here. I'd definitely suggest giving it a try.

Had some awesome fish and chips at this place. It might not seem like much from the outside, but the food inside is really good. The service was quick and top-notch, and the fish and chips were absolutely delicious.

Brilliant chippy. Mini fish special is tasty & still a bargain, even after a recent price rise.

Food can be taken away, eaten in, or go 50 yards up the road to the Coracle where u can wash it down with a nice pint of real ale!!

The chips were amazing! We ordered takeout for the family and had the choice between delicious battered fish or battered sausage. Both were fantastic.
We'll definitely be going back there again.

Absolutely amazing experience! The food and staff were fantastic, and they even brought out a cake and card for my friend's 21st birthday. I couldn't recommend it enough.

Fabulous Chippy in the heart of the historic town of Ironbridge. Just 80m from the actual Iron bridge itself. The quality of food is excellent. The food is served in a nice box so it doesn’t become soggy like it can with paper. We always have Haddock which is cooked to order in Loverly crispy batter. Excellent.
The staff are super friendly and it’s popular with locals as well As Tourists.

Great food, lovely staff and nice clean restaurant with nice atmosphere. We had the mini fish box with battered sausage chips and curry sauce and it was great. Sitting outside was nice too. The staff kept the place clean and were cheerful even when busy. Good price as well. Definitely recommend stopping here. Also, no plastic waste which is amazing! My partner says "id eat there again"!
