I’m not a donuts person or a fried foods person in general. But these fudge donuts are TO. DIE. FOR. So good. The custard in the middle isn’t some sickly-sweet vanilla pudding but a luscious creamy glob of goodness. The icing is sweet and perfectly proportioned. The pastry itself is light and doughy and perfection. So glad we stopped in, it would be a tragedy to have missed it

What a lovely bakery with very nice friendly staff, there was so many different cakes to choose from, we got the chocolate doughnuts and the apple turnovers, the doughnuts where delicious 😋, and I am sure when I get round to eating the apple turnover it will be very tasty as well, they had a very good variety of Halloween themed cakes and treats also.

Initially got 2 fudgy donuts with custard, they were that good that we popped back in for more! Got a selection of different cakes to take home. The service was great, staff all very friendly. Will definitely be back. :)

These desserts are what dreams are made of…Fisher & Donaldson’s in St. Andrews is one of my favourite bakeries to visit. I love looking at the window displays to see all their creations. I personally love to get the millionaires shortbread or coffee tower. We get these confectioneries and they don’t even make it back home. We will sit and eat them in the area behind Holy Trinity Church. We stuff our face holes and we go to the beach and walk off .001 percent of what we ate. If you have never been, you need to go here and purchase some tasty, rich and satisfying deliciousness! My only complaint is that they close early by 5:00 pm.

Yummy little cake shop in the heart of St Andrews. It’s very retro & fun- the staff wear really cool uniforms, and the attention to detail in the store is great- even the door handle is shaped like a pastry!

The fudge donut was really good. Amazing custard inside.

My gran used to take me to get cakes here since I was a toddler, now 25 years later I decided to revisit with my partner. We both loved it, couldn't say one bad thing about any of the treats we had. These little bakeries should be a national treasure.

We happened upon this cute little bakery on our way back to our hotel from visiting the St Andrews Cathedral.
We got the "yum yum" and 2 of the maple glazed donuts (filled with a light custard so don't be alarmed when you bite into it!).
Both were delicious! Everyone was helpful and explained what the treats were.

Single handedly the best donut I have ever had in my entire life. Get the Bavarian cream filled donut and it will change your life.

I could just say their fudge doughnuts and leave it there. But I won’t. Their pies are also tasty (especially the wee steak pies which are good cold), and their morning rolls last well and taste great. It’s expensive but the quality absolutely justifies it! If it was good enough for the queen it was good enough for me.

Fisher & Donaldson has to be the best bakery I have visited in a very long time. Their cakes, bread and pastries are all freshly prepared and are phenomenal. I jave to say my favourite cake is their fudge doughnuts, which are simply mouthwatering!

Definitely worth a visit!
