Nostalgia Tea Rooms

Fabulous traditional tea room. We got there late and they said they would give us till 4.15 Coffee/tea and scones all round served by a lovely lady dress up in black with traditional white apron . Scones came with jam and clotted cream, yummy. I would like to return to try more of the menu.

A sort of hidden gem. The music has a very 60s vibe or at least it did when I was there. Nice atmosphere with a great view over Lord Street. Deserves to be far busier. Will bring the grandchildren in the summer.

We used to eat here years ago and thought we would give it a go again, hearing it was under new management I was worried it wouldn’t be as good, to our surprise it was even better, 3 X full English with perfectly poached eggs, all meet well done as requested, excellent presentation on the plate, the biggest pot of tea I’ve ever seen included in the price of the meal, fantastically comfy chairs and amazing view and best of all the most wonderfully friendly staff, I even popped my head through the serving hatch to thank the chef who was a lovely smiley lady, definitely worth a visit this is our new Thursday breakfast eatery, also there cake selection was amazing especially the scones, visit don’t think about it just go

We came across Nostalgia tea rooms on a day trip to Southport. It's situated above a shop on Lord St called Diva. We had English breakfast tea and trifle 🍵🍰.
The service was outstanding. We felt like royalty. The ambiance was perfect. It is spacious and spotlessly clean including the toilets which smelt so fresh💐. We had a nice chat with Rebecca the owner who was really lovely. We highly recommended this place for lunch or afternoon tea. 11 out of 10👍

Had a fantastic brunch at the Nostalgia Tea rooms and sad to to see the notice the owners will be retiring at the end of April and wish them all best of luck and for new owners. The service was excellent and a great cooked breakfast and afternoon tea had by all! Loved the decor and downtown abbey style clothes the waitresses wore. Wonderful experience.

Lovely olde worlde spacious tea rooms which is far removed from the numerous greasy cafes along Lord street in Southport. This made a wonderful change to escape back to the way things used to be with waitresses dressed to be the part and providing a service with a smile.
The food was very nice but had the usual British side salad of a couple of lettuce leaves and a tomato, but it was reasonably priced. The only problem was it is upstairs so perhaps not easily accessed by the people who would appreciate it the most.

Came here for afternoon tea on Sunday for my sisters hen party as we were after somewhere nice and vintage looking.
The food was absolutely delicious. Everything tasted fresh. The tables are set out lovely too.
All the staff there were fantastic and went above and beyond to make it special for my sister. We will be visiting again soon ❤

Thankyou so much Nostalgia Tea Rooms here in Southport for a fantastic afternoon tea. This I have to say was one of the best or the best afternoon teas I've ever had . Just incredibly good 😀 🎂🍡🍦🍧 the afternoon tea for 2 was lovely. But I must say the 5 star customer service from all the staff it was unbelievably good , they are a credit to Nostalgia tea rooms thankyou.

Beautiful tearooms, had a delicious Sunday Roast cooked to perfection. The staff are lovely and really make you feel valued. Keep up the great work and we will be back soon

Great place, food is fabulous super tasty breakfast, and it is served hot (not tepid) like a lot of places, staff very efficent and attentive, great speed of service as well.

Great afternoon tea and friendly staff. Just one very small critique - the limit of one pot of tea per person seems a little petty, especially as hot water wasn't offered to top up the pot we had.

Was visiting Southport for the day and was looking for somewhere for afternoon tea and came across this lovely place. We'll worth a visit very friendly staff excellent service. We had afternoon tea for 2 £12 you can beat that price. 1 pot of tea done us 3 cups each, plain/fruit scone clotted cream/strawberry jam. I ask for some tap water with they bought to us in a nice bottle 2 glasses nice and cold. I really recommend this place.

We found this little gem about a month ago and what a gem it is, staff lovely food exceptional and just love the decor and the seasons tree, we visit on a regular basis and have introduced our friends who also love the place, keep up the good work 😊👍

Had lunch here with a friend on Fri 21st Aug & it was excellent. We both had lasagne with salad & garlic bread & it was delish! The strawberry milkshake was great too. The Tea Room is beautifully decorated & waitresses look lovely in black & white, very nostalgic. Will definitely recommend.

Wonderful afternoon tea for 3, with amendments for dietary restrictions made with no fuss. The staff were wonderful and the food was amazing! Highly recommended

Booked afternoon tea at Nostalgia tea rooms. Very enjoyable indeed. Tasty sandwiches, lasagne, chips salad, scones with butter, jam and cream, Swiss roll, almond type of cake, chocolate cake with strawberry dipped in chocolate and Eton mess. I finished mine but hubby couldn't eat it all. Had a lovely pot of tea and a nice window view. Staff were very pleasant. We would definitely recommend.

Nice clean old style cafe restaurant. Waiters and waitresses dressed in period clothing, good honest food at reasonable prices.

Interesting tea room with very typical "English" design and decor. Staff wear "nostalgic" uniforms to enhance the nostalgic feeling, which was very welcomed. Very Covid-aware and good at safeguarding customers' safety.
