The Rose Tea Room Of Birkdale

I wasn’t sure what to expect when my friend brought me in to Rose’s this afternoon. I assumed by the name it would be a run-of-the-mill café that serves tea and cakes. It turned out to be so much more. I had the leek and potato soup and toasted cheddar chutney sandwich —both absolutely delicious. My friend had the beef pie that was as good as any I’ve ever tasted. The food is simple and straight forward with impressive technique. Every detail was spot-on. Impeccable. The service was friendly and efficient and relaxed. I was thoroughly impressed with everything about this place. 🏆🏆🏆

Came for an impromptu lunch with my friend. The staff were very welcoming. They were very busy but I could see why. The food was lovely! Homely and delishious. I can't wait to go back. My friend had allergies and they didn't bat an eyelid xx

After being out on a course myself and two friends decided to have I drink and we were tempted by a super choice of cakes, one of us opted for lemon drizzel with blueberrys and the other choice was bakewell 🧽 ,both were delicious 😋

We visited The Rose Tea room on Saturday 11th February. The decor is beautiful and just as a tea room should be.The atmosphere was lovely along with the service. We had afternoon tea for 5 the cakes and sandwiches were all lovely. My little boy who is 13 months even had his own little plate of sandwiches. Upon hearing that this was a treat for my birthday the owner kindly gave me a glass of prosecco on the house which was very kind. I would definitely recommend a visit to this tea room.

Super tasty full English,everything (sausages in particular) was fantastic.Daughter had a veggie breakfast which she thoroughly enjoyed. Pancakes for the kids were incredible. If we're ever in Southport again we shall definitely be back!

Lovely little tea room. Inside is so much nicer than It looks from the outside. Great service, lovely coffee and the choc fudge cake was amazing. Good price as well for what we got. Will deffo be going again

Everything we had was great, but the cakes were especially delicious! Not to be missed!

Great little gem! This is becoming a regular “go to” in our family - lovely homemade food and cakes, a great range on the menu and pretty china cups. We came on a busy lunchtime and waited for a table but were never rushed through our meal. I had the steak and ale pie and my normally fussy son worked his way through a panini and then still had a dessert - high praise indeed!

We visited here for breakfast. It was lovely and the mushrooms were the tastiest mushrooms I have ever had. I’m tempted to ask where they get them from or how they are cooked. I would recommend booking because it was busy despite being a weekday morning and most of the tables had reserved signs but they did sort us out no problems. Very friendly staff too.

What a lovely place to eat! Clean,fresh and inviting. Food was fabulous, the steak panini is mouthwatering. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Didn't have time to try one of the desserts but they look delicious. Definitely going back for more.

Lovely healthy lunch followed by a delish piece of coffee and walnut cake. We will be back.

Everytime I visit from Northern Ireland I bring family and friends here. Today 6 of us all enjoyed different breakfasts & everyone of them was perfect. Great staff and friendly atmosphere. Was so good we followed breakfast with cake, Back again soon x

Food was delicious! I had perfectly poached eggs with salmon and muffin for breakfast and yummy lemon&blueberry drizzle cake :) loved proper China pots and teacups!
I'll be back for more and very soon.
