Delicious breakfast with a generous amount of salmon. Delicious carrot cake. Usually I'm not one for icing, but it was so delicious I wish there was more of it on the cake. The service was quick and very friendly and the atmosphere with chilled music and decorations were adding to a lovely breakfast vibe. Would love to go back for a wine tasting evening if I'm ever in the right part of the country.

Such a beautiful place. Food was amazing. Lovely family run business with such a nice story behind the name. Thank you for making our visit so enjoyable.

The second time we have been here, we can honestly say one of the warmest welcomes we have ever received in a cafe.
Two gentlemen front of house and one doing the cooking in the kitchen.
We both had poached eggs on sourdough, my wife had it with lovely bacon and myself.. I had beans.
Cosy atmosphere and nice coffee also.
The cafe is in league with Elodies Champagne and supplies this in the Merchant part of the business.
We'll definitely be back... Thank you.

First visit here (as a stop off point on our way to the lakes) and I was very impressed. On arrival we had a friendly greeting and were shown to a table. The cafe catered well for our little one by offering sausage on toast (as he doesn't eat beans). The coffee is really nice, bold and strong. The food is superb, with the eggs runny and well cooked on the royal. The salmon was nice too. I managed to park on the road outside where you get an hour. This was enough for lunch. There are some paid parking spaces too

Popped for a quick bite to eat in this lovely family run place and we were surprised how good the food was! Peach ricotta on sourdough, red pepper hummus with goat cheese absolutely delicious. Presentation 10/10 quick and friendly service, keep up good work The crossing point Cafe

I definitely recommend The Crossing Point for breakfast. Poached eggs on toast with bacon is simply excellent. Wonderful service. Darren and the team are friendly, fast and very accommodating. Dog friendly even if seating is a little tight when crowded. The small, carefully curated wine shop has a great selection and shows real care and knowledge. Very unexpected bonus in a small cafe! Our many breakfasts there were always happy occasions -- a perfect way to start or finish a walk to Devil's Bridge from Kirkby's central square. Keep an eye out for the frequent wine tastings, too.

I’ve visited Elodie’s twice now and have been equally impressed on both occasions. First off was a drop in for some takeaway soup ; two lovely homemade choices served with toasted sourdough and butter. I chose the broccoli and Stilton which was delicious. Whilst there I was taken with the lovely interior, warm welcome and bubbling atmosphere so decided to return with friends a few weeks later for a belated birthday lunch. We hadn’t booked bug although busy were given a lovely table in the snug area and were all really impressed with the food and service. The choices are great and everything is cooked with fresh local ingredients. Service was fab as before. Will definitely be returning, it’s a breath of fresh air and just what Kirkby needs!

Definitely one of the best cafe's I have been to for many a year. Food excellent, I had the chicken burger with sriracha mayo and my wife had the bacon and brie with chilli jam. Staff were cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable. Prices are most reasonable too.

A Great Choice For A Cooked Breakfast ..

A cooked English breakfast made with quality ingredients presented well. The room has a pleasing look and atmosphere.

The staff are friendly and attentive and the service is quick, the prices are on the expensive side to folks like us. I have no problem recommending this establishment for a little treat whilst on your visit to Kirkby Lonsdale.

Lovely place with amazing locally sourced produce (their bread is fantastic!). Great for a little lunch break after a walk. Lovely family owned place. Been there few times now and we are looking forward to be back soon.

We called in for hot drinks, after walking in the area. We were greeted with a pleasant smile and warm welcome. The drinks ordered were served hot and promptly, delicious too. The lady explained the cafe name change ,after her daughter. Also as a wine merchant too ,also explained about the champagne that also carries her daughter's name. We will be calling again ,to hopefully try some of the delicious looking food.

We visited on a Saturday lunchtime as part of a special birthday weekend. We were a party of 8 so we had reserved. The youngsters loved sitting at one high table while the adults had a cosy table in the corner next to them. Food was delicious and service was excellent. Atmosphere was great and our canine friend was even treated to a sausage, free of charge. Very good value for tasty, well presented food. Would definitely go back again.

First time visitors to Elodies and it didn’t disappoint. We went for the sriracha chicken burger, croque Madame and the daily special, which was a pulled beef sandwich. All served on some outstanding sourdough bread. Great atmosphere and equally good service. If you’re in Kirby Lonsdale, give this fantastic independent a go, you won’t be disappointed!

A lovely, family friendly cafe with a cosy live fire burning in the corner. It’s situated in the market square and adds to the attraction of the square itself. A reasonably priced varied menu to suit everyone’s taste and a friendly welcome from the proprietor and his staff completes this ideal venue for breakfast, lunch or another snack on a visit to this quaint little town.

Popped in for a cup of tea and cake on the way back from the Lake District,. Lovely little place that allowed dogs, so perfect for us. Tea and cake were suitably lovely and the service was spot on. Nice wines to buy too but ran out of time. Would like to come again and spend more time there.
