The Old Sawmill Café

Honestly, this place was such a god send! We were camping down the road in Austwick and the gas had run out in our van…we google what was around and found this gem!
The service was impeccable. Such lovely staff who made us feel so welcome…and our pooch!
The surrounding area is just one great thing about this place. Inside is really a testament to the previous use of the building, lots to look at…and more importantly…the food was beautiful! Despite just starting Slimming World I didn’t feel guilty about eating the English Breakfast because 1. We were hungry and 2. The food was amazingly cooked. Also, treat for dogs available too! Will definitely visit again when we are in the area!

Very nice, friendly, and professional service. The food was amazing. I ordered oreo brownie and hot chocolate with all the trimmings. I recommend ordering the oreo bornwie as it was a very sweet and soft tasty brownie. The lady that served was very polite and friendly, greeted us with a smile and positive attitude. Put a little sunshine on a rainy, windy day. Thank you. Next time we're in Lancaster, we are definitely coming back to this little cosy cafe.

Staff could not have been more accommodating. We turned up at a busy time with 7 people and a large dog. We were immediately offered to use the upstairs room which isn't normally used, if we were happy to pop down to order and then collect. We were very happy and had so much fun popping down and chatting and laughing with the very busy staff. Food was lovely, coffee very good and we had a brilliant afternoon while our dog sprawled across the floor. If you are visiting Ingleborough via Clapham I would fully recommend checking The Old Sawmill out. Muddy boots, people and dogs not an issue.

Amazing decor, incredible food and really friendly staff. Coming from Bristol every year to stay by the Ribblehead Viaduct this will now be our regular cafe stop

Fantastic place with great helpful staff. I'd a loose arrival time with a few ebikes and Andrew was very responsive when asked for help and advice about how we could be accommodated. Couldn't recommend this place, the food, or its staff highly enough. Thank you.

This cafe is located in the beautiful village of Clapham. The surrounding area is truly amazing with a wonderfalll waterfall situated next to the cafe. The cafe is clean, tidy and very warm and welcoming. The staff are extremely polite, attentive and all round lovely. The food and drinks are faultless offering excellant quality and portion size. We loved visiting this cafe and we will be back again!

We stumbled upon here after completing the Ingleborough Trail and Visiting the caves.
We got coffee and lunch. My partner said the Lasagna was one of the best she's in a long time. The pulled pork brioche burger was also great. Nice decor and chilled vibe. Worth a visit.

Arrived early before the cafe had opened and the staff kindly allowed us to stand inside away from the rain. I had the sausage, egg and bacon bap. Had to wait but that’s because we were a large group of people. Staff very friendly and very nice. Breakfast was yummy, would come again.

The is a lovely cafe and has a really nice atmosphere.
The staff are really friendly and helpful.
We only had drinks, but the food looked lovely aswel.
If you visit the nature trail or the caves I would highly recommend stopping by in the cafe.

I had a fantastic cooked breakfast here this morning and was greeted very happily by a lovely staff member who immediately took my order at a good price. The locals in there were very friendly too - a proper Yorkshire welcome! If passing Clapham, I wouldn't give this place a miss - definitely worth meeting the people here and having some of their delicious food.

Had lunch in here on 23rd Aug. A unique well designed cafe which has kept and used parts of the old sawmill in this modern refurb. Friendly staff and dog friendly. Tasty food great coffee and well worth a visit

Was in the event space where we were provided with a very generous spread. Great vegan options, including the best dairy free chocolate cake I've ever had and some sumptuously crispy samosas! Wonderfully helpful staff, lovely location, really recommended

Hosted 90th birthday for my father in law and couldn’t have been more helpful, kind and accommodating. Plenty of great food laid on for us. Exceptional value and a good time was had by all.

A gem of a find, a great brew, lovely selection of cakes, super-friendly staff and nice atmosphere. Really quirky venue, using old elements of the former Sawmill within the cafe. Really enjoyed it, and staff really nice and interactive with our 2-year old daughter. Highly recommended.
