Booked here day before mothers day, 8 of us. We got the time wrong for booking, the staff could not of been more understanding.
Staff were attentive and helpful.
Food was delicious...cottage pie and the lemon drizzle i had were lovely and all homemade.
Will be visiting again very soon.

Visited for lunch only and really impressed by the savoury options, including two daily specials. Really well cooked and well flavoured. Was so impressed we had to stay to try dessert - apple pie, cooked and served exactly as I asked. Service was very quick and friendly. Will come back. On site parking was a bonus.

We popped in here as we were passing through the area.
Proper little gem.
We got a window seat for two (overlooking the busy little road) but you get to see, bikers, campervans, doggies etc, so still plenty to see passing you by.
We had cream teas, I had the savoury option, very nice.
My partner had the cream and jam x two! And he thoroughly enjoyed them.
We had a bit of free entertainment there too, the waitress (possibly the manager) was serving the table of four behind us and they obviously all knew her because the laughs and wind ups they had going on were hilarious. We were served by a young girl (possibly fairly new) and she was superb. Very thorough and friendly. Thank you for the great service and cream teas x

Brilliant little cafe/tea room! If you're visiting Bovey Tracey or National Trust Parke this offers a great spot for lunch. We had the Quiche served with a generous portion of salad and coleslaw. The quality of the food was excellent.

We only visited the cafe. It was lovely and clean, nicely decorated and the staff very friendly.
We had cream teas, and I have to say the scones were probably the best we've ever had. Highly recommend The Copper Kettle

An absolutely lovely venue with excellent food and incredibly friendly and helpful staff.

We popped in for lunch, quite risky on a Sunday, but with the lovely garden area we were easily accommodated. The staff were incredibly friendly and couldn't do enough to make our visit perfect. The food was wonderful; lovely flavours and nicely presented. Desserts were equally outstanding and such a good range. We decided to share a cream tea for dessert, this was also to a high standard with quality jam and lovely fresh clotted cream. I should also mention that service was very prompt, ideal when you have hungry children with you.

This would be a great place to visit at any time, breakfast, lunch or afternoon tea! Highly recommended, I only wish I'd taken some photos to share too, well worth a visit.

Stopped by here for a bite to eat on our last day of our holiday. The reviews tempted us to come, we had a light meal and a wonderful devonshire cream tea in the beautiful garden. My mum loved the garden.

Came over on Sunday morning for a full English & Poached egg. The service was excellent, food was delicious and the coffee was superb. Been a few years ago and don't know why we haven't. We'll be back... Thank you

Having driven past the Copper kettle while passing through Bovey Tracey I decided to take my children in when we went camping nearby.
The cake was fresh and well baked, and the hot food was cooked well and made to order.
The owner was our waiter and he was friendly and knowledgeable.
My son said "it's very fancy in here" and it definitely felt like a treat to me too.

Loved this cafe / restaurant. Very friendly owners. They have their own car park too. If you are going for a special occasion its advisable to book. It's also a bed and breakfast and incidentally the cheese scones are fabulous

Had a lovely break here for a quiet cuppa, toasted fruit loaf and a cream tea. We had had a particularly complex and brain aching meeting in Bovey Tracey and stopped off here before returning home. It was so lovely, a really warm welcome from the lovely gentleman and a super spot by the window to watch the world pass by. We will certainly return. Thank you.
