Located above the river Severn at Ironbridge I'm sure this hotel has great views however we visited on a rainy Monday evening and were made welcome. We both had sausage, mustard mash and kale. The gravy was superb, very flavoursome. I had a treacle tart with a pastry case that Marcus Waring would have approved of. Service excellent.

Food was good, bar staff were good too. Was never asked if we wanted a drink at the table, or advised we needed to goto the bar. Other than that good pub. Even called me to let me know in advance that there was no beef today due to an overnight power cut.

Great place on the River Severn. Food all locally sourced. The burger from the nearest butchers was divine. Made me think about going to church again. 10/10 for Food, Service and atmosphere.

We had a family lunch event for 10 people , they were amazing. Easy to book, the location was great. The service was amazing and everyone really enjoyed the food. Big thanks to the whole team there!!!! I would highly recommend

We booked to have our 6th Anniversary meal here whilst we were visiting Ironbridge and were very pleased with our choice. The food was lovely and the service was superb. Although I think my wife would have preferred it if I wasn't watching the England V Argentina rugby world cup game on my phone whilst we had our meal.

After finishing our meal we sat on the terrace and had a few drinks. The atmosphere was relaxed and enjoyable. All in all it was a great evening. Would definitely recommend.

We didnt have a room hence why I haven't given the rooms a star rating.

Didn't stay here, just popped in for lunch, staff and clients were very nice, good atmosphere, dog friendly and good food too. Would recommend.

Stayed here for 2 nights to visit Ironbridge attractions. Very pleasant stay with excellent breakfast included and also enjoyed a good evening meal. Nice view of the river from our room. One thing I didn't like was that no staff/owner stayed here overnight and no contact number was given for emergencies (apart from 999!).

It's a good location and the food is honestly priced. It's not fine dining but it's ok and there's something on the menu for most folks.
Happy enough with service, quality and price. You won't, perhaps, be blown away and amazed or astonished ... but nor will you be disappointed 🙂 it's pretty much what you want and expect.

A beautiful clean friendly hotel. Dinner last night Caribbean beef stew excellent and breakfast this morning was superb. Would definitely stay there again.

Beautiful pub. Nice place to stay. The rooms are lovely. The location is awesome right by the iconic iron bridge

We really enjoyed our stay, great location.
We had to leave the hotel around 6am each morning, so this meant we would miss out on the breakfast. However, the staff made us sandwiches to take with us as breakfast instead. Our room was clean and had everything we needed.

The fish and chips is so good! Love the atmosphere!!

Had great meal in this nice riverside pub. Very good place.

Great location just down from the bridge. Car park being just the other side of the bridge within easy walking distance.
Large outdoor seating area to the front of the bar / restaurant.
Quick, pleasant service.
Rooms are small but we'll set out and comfortable.
Tea and coffee in the room, with further supplies just put in the hallway.
Had a great day here with both lunch and dinner being superb.

Annual Christmas market visit this year much wenlock and a stay in Ironbridge had afternoon drinks and evening meal here, god good, friendly staff god atmosphere

The fish and chips I’ve had in a long time. Polite staff, pleasant atmosphere.

Great food at reasonable prices, I had the chicken and chorizo main course and it was delicious. My wife had the belly pork and said it was one of the best she's ever had. The meals are definitely better than your standard pub grub.

A nice greeting, good choice of drinks great bar food and a smart restaurant..

We booked a table and sat outside as it was a lovely day,the staff were very friendly and the food was really delicious .
We will definitely come again!
