La Campania

We managed to get a table without booking, the restaurant soon became quite busy, so I would recommend booking.
The food was really good. The staff were lovely. We would definitely eat here again.

Seriously good pizza. Good sauce and cheesy cheese.
Had the Milanese and spaghetti for main and that was possibly even better. Really enjoy our food here. A big bottle of Peroni will set you back £8 though, the only downside to great food.

Honestly just came in to the restaurant, not hungry, just looking for something to eat before watching a concert in the cathedral. I ordered risotto marinara tonight and I was surprised it's so good! I've been to Italy before and tried different restaurants and this one in Arundel is not a joke. Surprisingly good and filling.

Popped into this Family run Italian restaurant...we didn't book but they managed to accommodate us.
Great meal felt very authentic..large portions so be careful if ordering a starter as well

I have visited La Campania twice and have been more than impressed. The staff are very friendly with a great service and the food is out of this world. There is so much choice for everyone. Plenty of veggie and vegan options as well as a brilliant gluten free menu. Great value for money and a wonderful atmosphere. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and will be back for more delicious food!

It is not often I provide a 5-star rating, but La Campania is one that richly deserves it. Easy to book online (book early!) for this popular restaurant, La Campania is a very comfortable and welcoming place to dine. The service is genuinely excellent and the ambience conducive to a calm and relaxing experience. Now then, the food. Last week we had the bass - two perfectly cooked filets with wonderfully prepared vegetables. This time we cook only book a table for 12 noon as we had left it rather late. We therefore skipped starters and had a popular main course only. My wife had the tagliatelle and meatballs and I, the spaghetti bolognese.
I can only say that this was simply the best ever tagliatelle and meatballs we ever had, and my bolognese was absolute perfection. As I mentioned, the portions are generous and given we were not overly hungry having had breakfast at 'The Steakist' earlier that day, we were unable to eat much more than half. However, happy to help as ever, La Campania provided a bag with our packaged remains to enjoy later at home. We were extremely happy with that!
Fair prices for the quality you experience at this restaurant and we can only encourage others to experience it as well.

Excellent food, friendly service. I decided to book La Campania for an early lunch for a party of 4 after reading other reviews. The food was great and we really enjoyed the whole experience. I had the prawn and salmon risotto and it was fantastic.

Really enjoyed this one. Real genuine service, great food and a real lively buzz to the whole place. Has me saying classic lines like “like the good old days”. Also appreciate the custom lamps scattered across the whole restaurant. Will be going back

Excellent restaurant with great food and a great atmosphere. We had a little niche all to ourselves and ordered some anti pasta and the trio of fish plate. Everything tasted excellent and was so good we also went for a dessert of tiramisu and torta de nanna.

Service was quick and pleasant and we had a great night here.

Had been meaning to dine here for ages as had seen mentions on a vegan Facebook group. Had spent the weekend in London and didn't want to have to cook so swung by on way home. Thankfully managed to get a table. Very nice atmosphere with warm friendly service. Loved the vegan menu with some great options. I had the vegan meatballs with lovely pasta and superb sauce. Wife had the spicy bean style fillet with pasta and sauce served with some Mediterranean veg on the side. Fresh hot and all very tasty. Will certainly be back and I think will book next time as would love to bring my sons to enjoy as well. Thanks for a great first meal with you!!!!

Truly authentic Italian experience. The food was excellent and tasty. My father is not fond of pizza at all and said it was the best pizza he has ever had. We all had pasta for mains, and what a delicious meal, there terimasu is probably the best I have ever had. Will be back for pizza next time.

Perfectly cooked fish and mussels to die for. And wait until you see the Italian desserts! Excellent service and great selection of wines. Wednesday night is fish night and Thurs steak night.

Best pizza i have had in a long time! Crust was not dry like most places when you order an Italian pizza. Staff were so lovely. We went for my stepsons birthday meal and everyone enjoyed their meal. Love that they have half portions of the pasta so the children can enjoy more than just Mac and cheese. Beautiful coffee too. Can't wait to go again 😊🙌

This was our first visit to this lovely restaurant, and we have to say, we loved everything. We (3 of us) ordered from the set menu, which was very reasonably priced and a good selection of dishes.
Each course was generous, very presented, and extremely tasty.
The staff were very friendly and the service was prompt. We can recommend it and we're already planning our next visit.

We have recently moved to the Arundel area and thought we'd try this Italian restaurant. We weren't disappointed, such a lovely place. The atmosphere was great.....the food was amazing. Although they were really busy the service was excellent. Would have loved to try a dessert but didn't have any room. Will definitely be returning.

Perfect spot for lunch. We were recommended to try La Campania by a local shopkeeper, and he wasn’t wrong. This restaurant has all that you would want from an independent Italian restaurant. A good selection of dishes of generous portions, very pleasant staff, and a convivial atmosphere.

Proper Italian. The food was flawless, atmosphere was buzzing and the service great. Will be back for sure.
