Probably the best castle I saw so far in UK.

If you go there my suggestion is to arrive early because the car park in front to the castle is always busy (there are a lot of visitors)

The tickets are a but expensive (you can have 3 type of visit (castle, castle and gardens or castle, bedroom and garden) I suggest the last option.

You can spend the at least 5 hours there.
Customer service is great.

Garden is full of flowers, with a pond

Castle is amazing a lot of history and beautiful pictures to see.

It is great also for the kids.

We had lunch there but you can easily take your food from home

Lovely pretty gardens and grounds.
The castle has interesting things in it.
Nice because it wasn’t too busy and overcrowded the day we visited.

This castle is in great condition and a wonderful example of English Castels. The staff and volunteers are very informative and the entry prices are worth it. We spent 4 hours which gave us just enough time to see the Castel, Bedrooms and gardens.

A truly beautiful place that reflects the hard work and dedication of the team behind it. A must visit for anyone interested in local history or the wide period of history surrounding this castle. There is some disabled access but understandably access to top areas with narrow staircases are not accessible for wheelchair users.

Probably one of the most splendid castles in the UK, located in a delightful picturesque town. Despite not being as famous as Windsor Castle, which is a shame, I consider it to be one of the most well-preserved and truly stunning medieval treasures, surrounded be a breath- taking Tudor rose garden.

One of my favourite Castles to visit. Here you can take photos, which is rare for any castle. We loved being able to touch some of the pieces, and explore the grounds. It’s an amazing Castle, and an amazing experience. We’ll never forget our visit, and further thank the Duke for allowing the Public to tour the home.

This is an amazing place to visit. During our trip it was a Bank Holiday and the grounds were full of tents containing people in medieval dress. We threw axes, fired long bows and crossbows. The castle tour was fantastic and the views from the keep were spectacular.

Wow wow 😳 what a fantastic fantastic castle. This must be one of the nicest and best kept castle's we have been too , the guides within the castle are fantastic and great to get history from , the kids loved there activities on when we visited, the outside gardens and chapel were great . The cafe served lovely cakes , toilets were very good 👍 . What a credit to the owners for the upkeep and beautiful presentation. Easy parking across the road £5 all day . You may need to save some pennies if you plan a family day and cafe etc but a place to remember for all the family steeped in history!! . A+ from us

A simply gorgeous palace to visit with a lot of rooms and history to see and learn about, with a magical village to explore.. just make sure you come in the right period as the castle is closed during the winter months.

We had been meaning to visit Arundel Castle for a long time. We should have done it sooner. Wow!!! It was amazing , so much so that we're going to visit again when the castle re opens next year.

The gardens are really great with different areas/ themes.
We're looking forward to visiting earlier in the year next time as we visited in September this time.

There are too many rooms to mention which are fantastic, but the library is definitely one to spend time in.

We also ate lunch there, which was really tasty. Price wise, we felt it was good value for what we had.

The shop was interesting too. The wooden duck appealed to me and quite a few other items, but my wife wouldn't let me buy the wooden sword!!! Lol..

Great castle, great views. I was very surprised, it looks like it was built last year, it's in such good condition. Lots to see on the inside, the staff are lovely. Gardens are very symmetrical so it seems all the same, but very nice nonetheless. Beautiful cathedral, nice facilities. I was a bit taken aback by the price, it cost us £50 just for my partner and I to go into the castle. It was the most expensive castle we have ever visited! But I would pay that any day to see the look on my partner's face, he loved all the architecture and woodwork. £2.50 for up to 4 hours in the car park on Mill Rd, pretty good rate. The staff knew the answers to most of the questions we had, and were quite lovely and friendly. The town itself has some nice antique stores as well.

Very interesting place to visit. Lots of history and includes a beautiful garden, an interesting chapel, an old keep and a refurbished residence that you can see the guest rooms of. There was also a market outside and some interesting shops in the area.

One of the best kept castles and grounds I’ve seen. We spent a nice, wet Sunday exploring the place on our way back from the coast, and it was a big surprise. Lots of interesting stuff to learn and see. Arundel town is also lovely and worth a mooch around

Super cool castle of a current Duke. There is an old section and a "new" section of the castle. A bunch of it is explorable with the full pass (castle, keep, church, bedrooms). We went during the special history days where there were old timey people telling stories, teaching archery, giving moat tours, falconing and more. The gardens are absolutely divine. You would need a whole day to explore this place, take lots of pictures and explore the adorable city.

The residence of the Duke of Norfolk is a stunning Castle and Gardens. Many guides can be found around the castle with stories and facts. A very nice restaurant and coffee shop with the obligatory gift shop. Lots of steep and very narrow stair cases for access to the keep.

I was reluctant to visit because of the cost but was really glad we did. One of the best such places we've visited. Obviously really well built originally, then restored, and now maintained. Loved the gardens and castle and even the bedrooms were worth the extra £2. Cafe was good for lunch too.
