Almost went straight to the pub but then noticed this cafe with huge windows and decided I would try it out. I had mushroom soup and a black coffee. The soup was sensational none of this out of a pack cream of mushroom stuff, proper thick extremely tasty just made and put through a blend. Plus the coffee was great too. The decor is tasteful and the staff are great as is the music. Do yourself a favour and try the cafe and not the pub.

Great breakfast. With a lovely coffee.. this cafe has a great menu. And some lovely alcoholic drinks. And wines to accompany your meal during your day. Seating upstairs gives you great views very nice staff work here very helpful. You get WiFi also so u can check in and review. You will love this little gem of a cafe just as you enter applecross it's the 1st building on left. Parking opposite the building. Well worth visiting. Opening times on photo..... enjoy

Sat right next to a babbling brook drinking local ale, the pizzas are amazing and the owner got us a giant umbrella as it does like to spot up here. Also the chips are lightly salted with their skins on and the portion was large for 2 men sharing. Perfect

We popped in for a late lunch at around 4pm, we ordered 2 pizzas and a side of chips. The pizza's were amazing, we could tell that they were made using fresh high quality ingredients and the chips were crunchy and fluffy. The owner was really a really friendly guy. I totally recommend the The Junction.

The Junction is just what Applecross needed. It's a quaint, cozy, trendy bar/restaurant/ cafe. We stopped by for an early dinner. Service was outstanding and the view was really nice as we sat upstairs right in front next to the window. I had the Haggis, neeps and tatties which was presented very neat (see pic). She had the Haddock which was wonderful too. If you're younger I'd definitely go here rather than the Inn..

Had a flat tire in my car and Applecross doesn’t have mobile phone coverage. This guys saved my life by letting me use their landline. Also tasted their great beers and food while I waited for road assistance. Will definitely come back.

Nice café to stop at on the NC500. Love a nice soup on a cold and rainy day. Not to forget an actual nice coffee and cake to finish off. There is a community fuel pump across the road with the cheapest fuel as they only run it to cover the cost (gives an idea on the margins the others make) :)

The staff were really helpful & the banter from the English waitress was priceless! 😁 10/10

Breakfast with a breathtaking view.

Food was delicious and reasonably priced. We were fortunate enough to have the window seat on the top floor that gave us the perfect view of some local deer who were grazing near by. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

Good reasonably priced breakfast with a great view out over the water. Added bonus of plugs to charge your fone at every table. Very handy if you have stayed at the camp site.

They serve a wonderful hot spicy pizza, Diablo, I think it was. The waitress very cleverly said that the extremely nippy home made Chilli sauce could be served seperatly - damn good idea, it was hot and only a wee dodd was required !
The atmosphere is welcoming.

Excellent food at good prices, friendly, welcoming staff, happy atmosphere + nice surroundings. Cakes looked fab but too full to sample after such a delicious evening meal! Would definitely recommend this as a good place to eat in Applecross.

Good coffee and the cake was super dense & rich calorie fest. Great for tired legs. Nice atmosphere too.
