We had a delicious lunch at That Tree Room at The Ark. We had a huge pot of tea and the carrot soup was nice and thick and flavoursome. It was hard to choose between all the lovely looking home made cakes on display. We went with the mango and passion fruit curd cake which was light and extremely delicious. Highly recommended.
There's a nice atmosphere there, it feels like a proper tea room and the staff are both helpful and friendly.
And how could you ever find fault with a tea room with such an incredible view?

Great newly re-opened tearoom and gallery. Lovely home cooked cakes and snacks....and no dogs allowed inside. Marvellous for those of us with allergies to dog hairs. Wonderful setting on the coast.

Now under new management. A warm welcome and an expanding menu. Would recommend the Haggis and Cheese toastie. Just the thing for a rainy autumnal day. I understand there will be a new dog friendly section soon!

Walked here from Rockliff.
Sat outside as it was a beautiful autumn day.
Had delicious homemade soup.
Would definitely come back.

Lovely cafe, really prettily decorated inside and right by the waters edge so good views. The food was good and freshly prepared. We had a late lunch with family after a lovely walk along the cockleshell beaches. Will definitely be calling in again.

Although very busy service was acceptable...ordered mezze for four adults and asked for hot dog meal for child to be served at same time..not quite to plan but not far behind...we were kept informed of its progress...
Adults had steak ciabatta...one fishcakes and one baked halloumi..bottle of wine and tap water for table.
All the food was appealing to the eye..well varied..homemade down to tartare sauce etc and delicious.
Only fly in the ointment?....the steak on both plates was rather fattier than expected and detracted slightly from overall enjoyment.
Second visit to establishment...would return and would recommend...

Beautiful little cafe in a picturesque village by the water. Such a lovely spot. We had coffee and a bacon sandwich which was just what we needed. Very friendly service and would definitely recommend to anyone in the area.
