Castle Point Caravan and Camping Site

Beautiful site. Grassy pitches with sea views. Clean toilets with wash basins in cubicle. Spacious showers. Quiet at night. Beautiful coastal walk to the Anchor pub in Kippford.

Stayed here for 10 days in our tourer caravan. Fantastic site. Beautiful views, friendly helpful staff, clean toilets, spacious shower's, laundry room, WiFi, visiting ice cream van every day and pizza van and fish n chip Van and fresh fish van once a week.

Great site with fabulous views. Facilities are good.
No local shops so be sure to take provisions with you.
Nice walks from the site

Beautiful hidden gem with a lovley walk to some quality pubs! Staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities were very clean and well maintained. Little play area as well for kids away from where caravans are driving around.

Great site.Friendly owners Well kept good sized pitches, showers , toilets spotless. The views are wow from all pitches. Two minutes walk to the coastal path and beach.

The gentleman when we arrived was very friendly and welcoming. We got to choose our own pitch, the whole site is well maintained so anywhere you choose is great. The toilet and shower blocks and clean, modern and plenty of showers so you're not having to queue. The views were amazing from this site and it was so peaceful and quiet there. Only a short few minutes to walk and you're on the coastal path. We loved our trip here and will definitely be booking to come back.

Another fab weekend in our campervan at Castlepoint. This site is immaculate, and well run. Fab location for a lovely walk along to the 2 pubs in Kippford. Unfortunately there was a rowdy family on while we were there, but they were asked to leave by the staff. Well done I say.

Arrived on Friday stayed till the Sunday.

Picturesque location very quiet and the badger certainly made it one to remember.
We stayed up for hours watching Bobby the badger do his rounds. A truly wonderful experience!

Just had a couple of nights at this site.
What a site, What a setting, What a gem.
It was lovely to meet John (owner) Tom ( Assistant Warden) and the Maintenance guy (Dave, you were always cheerfully busy) and the Warden ( I think his name was Charles, not sure).

In our view it is a very family friendly site with both open spaces and at least Two designated and purpose built play areas.
Very Dog friendly as there are many dog walks close by. At least Two Lovely facilities blocks and beautiful views to enjoy from most points across the site. At this point we are going to mention the showers FANTASTIC!

See you all again guys and have a great season 🙂

Great kids play area with plenty of space for them to kick a football away from the main pitches.

Definitely one for a return visit

Gorgeous coastal retreat. Stunning scenery. Friendly helpful staff. Well laid out site and spotless amenities. We have loved it so much we are booking for Easter next year. We were recommended by a friend, and we in turn cannot recommend enough.

Fabulous site in a great location with beautiful views and all taken care of by a very friendly and helpful warden (Charles). Showers were brilliant too. All in all, a very pleasurable experience.

We absolutely adore this campsite, the welcome the scenery along with its location are fantastic! Set on a rolling landscape, looking out across an estuary, surrounded by nature, this site has plenty of nice clean facilities & coastal walks, it's definitely worth a visit. The roads in are narrow in places especially the last mile, so caution must be taken but, it's worth it, just for the views....🏴??????

This is our 3rd visit to this lovely campsite & we've found even more lovely trials from the site & at Rockcliffe as the woods there are owned & managed by the Scottish national trust & have several trials to explore with several leading down to beaches & at least three leading down to Kippford...🤩🏴??????

Came for a weekend 2 weeks ago husband and I in our touring caravan ,son and partner in there tent ,lovely wee site ,great location and lovely staff ,will definitely be back 😀

Had a lovely week here. Views were stunning. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful coastal walks with our dog. Peaceful location. Shower blocks were cleaned regularly and new showers were amazing.

We stayed in a tent . Lovely clean toilets and showers. In door washing up area very helpful if it is raining . Friendly staff very well kept tent field .

This is a brilliant campsite! It was the cleanest campsite we’ve ever been in, really really well maintained and by lovely people too. Amazing views of the Estuary. Easy access to local beaches.

Scott and Loraine had a tough time while we were there with Scottish water but they managed it perfectly.

I couldn’t recommend this site any more highly.

Pizza van comes Thursday, DVD station, showers good, site lovely, sea view, coastal path, ice cream van nearly every day. Highly recommend
