The Little Acorn Cafe

Fabulous wee gem! Sadly we discovered this cafe on the last day of our holiday but managed to stop in for breakfast on the way home. Friendly efficient service, very dog friendly, tasty food at a low price!

Having got lost en route to Pitlochry my wife Maureen and I were most fortunate to stop for coffee and shortbread at the Little Acorn Cafe in Methven. The lady owner was so helpful and hospitable and her homemade short bread was absolutely delicious. We hope to visit the cafe again on our next trip in to Perthshire . Peter

The cakes are exceptional, the service wonderful and the price is more than affordable.
All the cakes are homemade as is the soup and all meals are freshly prepared when they are ordered.

Fantastic little cafe, really warm and friendly welcome from the lady running the place, coffee was great and the food was delicious. Worth a stop in if you’re in the area or passing through. Great prices too.

The owner is lovely, so friendly & welcoming. She remembers customers & so many locals pop in & you can tell that she is a local pillar in the community. She makes sandwiches that aren't on the menu & she remembers your favourite sandwich combinations. The tray bakes are very good too.

Always bubbly and pleasant service.
Food is cooked to order and Lorraine always considers dietary requirements.
Cakes are to die for.

Stopped on my way to Loch Lomond for some soup, tea, and a scone - all delicious! Adorable little shop open for takeaway during the covid pandemic. Worth a stop off on your way through town!

If you looking for some great food and a good laugh then this is the place to go the club sandwich is the bees knees theres a good selection of tray bakes cakes ect all made there oh and the staff are not bad only joking their loverly
