Cafe Carnegie

Great value hearty food. Filling and at a great affordable cost. Service was really polite, welcoming and friendly. The cafe had lots of well behaved babies and it was a pleasure to take our new born here and we felt very safe and comfortable to feed and change a grizzly little one. We highly recommend for families and will definitely use again. Thank you team !

This is a beautiful place , the food is divine and well priced , staff are extremely helpful and the atmosphere is first class .

The perfect restaurant for a 'quick bite' or something more substantial. Great staff, quick service, delightful atmosphere. The food is nicely cooked, substantial and sensibly priced.

The restaurant is well placed for the shops and for parking. It is the most popular meeting place in town for busy mothers, the socialising House wife and for those who want to stay conversant with all Workington's cultural, dance and music activities.

This is the internationally famous Carnegie Centre where Kathleen Ferrier launched her meteoric, World famous singing career.

This is the place to meet anyone who is anyone in West Cumbria!

Was lovely afternoon cream tea lots chose staff made it special when I orded it they asked what we like we were given boxes to take home cakes and sandwiches lots of food thank you 💖

Staff are always lovely, helpful and we've never had a bad coffee and a cake 🥰 or anything else we'd fancied to eat .

Sunday Lunch was lovely!!! Amazing selection of meats were Turkey, Gammon or Beef all were tender and tasty! The mash was amazing too!

Amazing breakfast
We had the wonderful breakfast this morning. It was piping hot with 2 of everything on it. The coffee was really good too. The staff were very polite and efficient. I will definitely be back!

We had a fantastic breakfast here, I had scrambled eggs on brown toast while my partner has the full English....both very good, his did look great too, the staff we lovely.
I'd often pass this café while shopping and it always looked popular now I know why and we'll use it again when in the area.

Beautiful breakfasts freshly made,,the two young girls serving us were very friendly and chatted with our two grandchildren .
We will definitely be back again. My grandson was so happy he could have his favourite chicken nuggets and chips for his breakfast lol
