I'm giving Morrisons 5 stars for the selection of foodstuff and other items readily available.
If it wasn't for this l could have, in good conscience, given 3 stars. Pre Pandemic the store was lively, bustling, a fine place to shop, eat, have a coffee etc. Nowadays given this chains rush to closing checkouts and possibly shedding the workforce into the bargain. l did not feel the vibe l once did. I used to enjoy the interaction with the workforce. Morrisons are not alone in this, all the big chains are doing the same which is sad. Happily there are a number of stalls selling fruit and vegetables on market day l frequent them more and more for the human interaction. Cash changes hands and you get a bit of crack too.

Good but getting bit pricey now.

Great selection of meat, best thick cut bacon I've had for ages 20 rashers for £4-00 can't beat a bargain.

Easy access, clean and tidy, helpful staff, competitive prices.
Other supermarkets also match these criteria.

This is a Scottish company so expect the prices to be low and the produce to be fresh. Why would you go anywhere else for your fish fillets; mackerel, plaice, cod, salmon, herring?

There is always a good selection of shellfish but never crab or lobster?

I like their cafe. There is always a good menu at a good price.

On the way home, don't forget to get some petrol or diesel. It is always the cheapest around!

I visited this store today with my friend neither of us have ventured very far during lockdown. My friend is 89 years young and we used a wheelchair for first time. The gentleman on the trolleys went over and above his job to make sure we managed safely. A big thank you

2hrs free parking. Time to shop around Whitehaven Centre. Car parks are extremely busy and some are full. Call at the Library which is close by. Call at B & M and McDonald's. A park across the way for children.. Morrisons shopping ofcouse...

Good Morrisons, with all goods, at good prices, and good layout as well. :)

Well laid out with new chilled food section. A very good refurbishment. Good to have wide aisles so straightforward to pass people. Check out was swift and efficient. Café was good and pastries + cake was really fresh. Good car park with widish parking bays so no issues with sinks from other vehicles.

A great store with a wide variety of products, fast lane self check out and very helpful staff!

Great café. Really tasty food, good choice and friendly staff. Lots of seating. I had fish and chips with syrup sponge and custurd for dessert. The batter was lovely and crisp. Good size supermarket which had customer toilets. You get 2 hours free parking.

Staff are doing a great job but just let down by supplies of things not getting to the shelves.

No doubt higher management will still get their yearly bonuses while the people at the sharp end get neglected for all their hard work.
