Lavender Dog Shop Alfreton

1st time here as a puppy owner after 20 odd years. Quite daunted with all I need for the puppy. Asked staff about what I need and was given good advice without being " urged " to spend too much. Came away with the basics for a couple of days.
Will be going back as the place has good stock and variety. Also the staff are knowledgeable, patient and great with this old man 👍

first visit today with our 8week old Golden Retriever girl. You can find almost everything there. From raw foods, supplements to licking matts, dog beds and huge range of natural treats. Prices are affordable, staff members around if you need help.

So far I cannot fault the Lavender Dog Shop. I feed raw and I'm really unorganised, the next day delivery is fantastic and they have a great variety, some items I have never seen elsewhere. My dogs are very happy.

Fantastic shop for dog stuff. Managed to find chicken chunks that we couldn't find elsewhere, as well as rabbit ears that are much cheaper than big name pet stores.

Friendly staff as well, who provided the perfect solution to ease dog anxiety that other stores didn't offer and it has worked a treat. He's so calm and relaxed.

Love this place, so much to choose from and easy to order from. Delivery is great too, never had any problems, highly recommend

I had an absolutely fantastic experience in this shop. The staff were friendly and very informative, even asking what budget we had and i find that very rare, most shops dont bother to ask or care, they just want your money. They were brilliant at finding a raw food that fit with our budget and were very helpful explaining benfits to it, how to swap over to raw and whats best for our puppy. We had our puppy with us and he was very happy to be in the shop too, getting lots of attention and fuss. You can tell the staff really do care about the animals and its not all about getting you to spend your money. Highly recommend and will definitely be a frequent shopper there

I’ve replaced my pups very expensive subscription raw food with the Lavender dog shop brand, she prefers it as it’s chunky ! It’s a third of the price and I don’t have to buy a huge amount as I’m local. The staff are amazing and never too busy to offer advice if you need it. I have also recently purchased a harness and although they could have sold me a very expensive harness, the advice for my growing pup was to go for a cheaper option until she’s fully grown, I had my pup with me and they fitted the harness. Nothing is too much trouble and I won’t go anywhere else now . Highly recommended!

I go here once a week to buy our Lexys dog food. She loves the fresh dog meat Lavender do. Highly Recommended.

I was so thankful for this shop opening I know it's been open a while now but before it did open its doors, I had to travel from alfreton to Doncaster for raw food because nothing local sold raw. Lavender have a massive selection from diy to complete meals from loads of different companies its blooming great it doesn't stop there, they've got a big selection of 100% natural treats, natural shampoos natural flea treatments natural vitamins toys, harnesses I could go on it may look small but it's jam packed of everything you could need to feed raw. Staff are helpful especially the lady who helped me today, she's done this more than once she's great, told her what I needed (it was a lot) she boxed it all put everything in the trolley & bought it to the checkout, best service ever, one day i will ask her name so I can put her name on my review so she knows just how helpful, polite,friendly, kind, she really is. They also deliver great service to have. I would highly recommend this shop you won't need to go anywhere else & you won't be disappointed

Went in today and what a fantastic experience. Me and my partner are relatively new at buying dog food and wanted some advice before buying. Alice was extremely helpful and made the whole trip worthwhile, left with the right food and gained loads of information regarding our dogs nutrition and diet requirements.
