Golden Valley Caravan and Camping Park

We had my son's birthday party here ! It's absolutely amazing! Staff are so helpful, everything is so well organised! The prices are amazing ! Food was great loads of choice !.
Would 100% recommend to anyone looking for someone to have a party! Really SEN friendly too as when it all gets too much they can go outside on the park for some down time or some fresh air.

We have just spent the weekend at Golden valley. Absolutely incredible. Great staff, made to feel so welcome. Awesome facilities, showers are hot, powerful and everything is so clean. Didn't want to leave so made use of the bar and had a lovely thatchers gold before we left. Will be back soon. Found an absolute gem there.

Always a good site, quiet after 10pm good plots lots for kids, paying £5 for fishing is a little poor as the park is more per night than most but you do get evening entertainment till 9pm thrown in

Brilliant place,just about everything you need on a campsite. All the staff are very friendly and helpful. Loads of stuff for the kids to do,loads of entertainment for them. Fishing ponds as well. Just could do with a small shop for the bare essentials,just to save going out to the shop in case you've forgot something like we did.Ha ha!

Great to be back in a campsite for a few days, and to see people enjoying safe socialising and not stressing about wearing masks outdoors! This site is huge, and filled up at the weekend which was great to see. It's well managed and very clean, with plenty of facilities like bar, cafe, kids play areas, fishing pond, as well as extensive forest walks. This was our third time at the site in three years, and we will definitely return.

There is service toilets and showers to use very clean,there's a cafe bar sandpit for the kids a zip wire lots of things to do

My family and 2 other families have been coming to this site for the past 4 years . This site is excellent, clean , tidy and friendly. Each year they have added something different . Yes it is perhaps a bit more expensive than some other sites , but for us it's worth the extra money. The site feels safe and secure so feel happy for the children , aged from 10 to 15 to explore a little . We really look forward to this camping holiday every year .

Absolutely loved the golden Valley campsite, spent a long weekend away with family and had the best time, excellent entertainment, food was gluten free or vegetarian, facilities were clean and scenery was beautiful.

this has become our family go to place to go for a lovely break! we have had a long weekend and a full week here with another week coming up! beautiful walks! loads for the kids! fishing is fantastic and only £3 a day we've had some beautiful fish out! lovely staff brilliant shower and washing/toilets nice cafe with bar! lovely pitches

Great place for kids with entertainment and plenty of play areas, pitches are unusual but work ok for groups with different needs. Food and drink are reasonably priced. Had a lovely weekend.

We’ve had a fabulous time down at Golden Valley. We had never been before but we will be back again. Very impressed with the sites cleanliness, there was never a time I didn’t see the toilets dirty! Good range of food in the cafe all reasonably priced and tasty. You get a very family orientated feel for the place too, good for families :)

Absolutely brilliant!
Well spaced out pitches and onsite facilities.
Staff are very hardworking, helpful and the site is cleaned regularly.
Kids have had a ball who loved all the outdoor play parks & fishing.
Good all round prices and an overall great site along with a great time had by our family.

Staying here over the bank holiday. We booked last minute so staying on the over flow site. Very busy, but plenty of space. Showers and toilets seem really clean. Walked over to the club house, bars open with plenty of drink and food options. DJ on upstairs playing latest music. Really enjoyable stay so far and will definitely be booking to come back again with others in the next few weeks.

There's a pitch here for everyone. We had to move after our first night due to noisy neighbours and the staff were so helpful and understanding.
The sight is set in lovely woodland with open field areas and the facilities are kept spotless.
There are lots of activities to keep the children happy and lovely play areas, including covered sand pits.
Due to all the facilities, this is a busy sight at peak times though noise kept to a minimum after 10pm.
We will be back with our children and dog very soon. What a lovely holiday.

We have just come home from a stay at Golden Valley Caravan and Camping park. 14 members of our family plus 4 dogs stayed for six nights. We had two tents and two caravans. The park is really well maintained. It was really clean with no litter anywhere and all the bins were emptied several times a day. The toilets, showers and pot washing areas were kept very clean and tidy. The lovely Jacuzzi is a MUST after a days cycling! Staff were really friendly and accommodating. Our grandchildren loved the play areas and the sand pit barn and the grounds were all beautifully mown and kept neat.
There are plenty of things to do on site but we didn't try everything as we didn't have the time but the children would have been happy to be on site all holiday if they could!
We will definitely be going back to stay there and would happily recommend this site to anyone else.
My ONLY suggestion would be to put a clock in the Jacuzzi room so you can see how long you had been in there as it is timed use.
NOTHING TO COMPLAIN ABOUT ON THIS EXCELLENT SITE!

Brilliant place it's our 5th time here and we love it! Loads to do for the kids with entertainment, games,nature trails, soft play for little one's,disco,train rides,pond dipping etc lovey areas for tents & caravans. Family run business and the toilets and showers are always being cleaned regularly. Cant fault anything! Its improving with new things every time we come!

Fantastic site, loads of room and choice of pitch. Clean toilets and showers. Live entertainment on when we were there which was brilliant - not your normal camp site tat.
Highly recommend 👌
