Arnside House

Had a wonderful visit at this shop today. I was behind a family who were more interested in getting ice cream than controlling their children. I was impressed by the lady who just politely asked the children to put the toys down (they were pulling them apart) this was a reasonable request and not at all rude.
We had a lovely conversation on how some children have no manners. Refreshing. Also the ice cream is to die for.

Great gift shop with loads of choice and in a beautiful location. Enjoyed a lovely coffee as well. Served by really pleasant and friendly people. Definitely worth a visit.

A few days ago, on a short visit to beautiful Arnside, I was enjoying a lovely local ice cream outside this gift shop which looked really interesting inside. But unfortunately, before I had the chance to take a browse inside, I realised that I had lost my case, containing credit cards and money. I tried to retrace my steps to where I thought I might have dropped it, but, alas, to no avail. When I finally got home (I live near Blackpool), I noticed I had missed a few calls on my mobile. On calling back, it was answered by a charming-sounding lady called Charlotte from Arnside House Gift Shop who told me, some other, equally kind, person had found and handed my lost case into the nearest shop, this being the gift shop. Charlotte had gone to the trouble of finding my mobile number through Daniel from 24/7 Taxis as I had no personal identification in the case, and calling HIS number was the only slight chance that he might know something about it. Fortunately he did, and the rest is history, as they say!
Suffice to say, that Charlotte had not only gone out of her way to try and find me, she also insisted on posting the case on the following day and would not hear of me driving back to collect it, or even to pay for the postage! So much bad news is reported these days that I feel it only right to mention someone so truly kind and unselfish. THANK YOU AGAIN, CHARLOTTE, and on my next visit to Arnside, I will definitely come to your gift shop and hope, on that occasion, to finally meet you in person.

A very snowy Sunday morning 28th November 2021... Needed the loo but they didn't have one, so I left Kate to order drinks and went off to the public one just down the prom, 40p later Kate was just getting her second coffee and my tea was arriving too. Kate had already bought 2 packets of gluten free fudge for her Daughter, though only one would make it all the way back to Halifax in tact, gluten free or otherwise it was lovely... Gorgeous quirky shop full of all kinds of things, it even sells HOT VIMTO, lovely young woman working there on our visit, as well as serving drinks and other customers, she was very adept at thawing out children's toes.. We sat overlooking a very misty prom and snow covered scene. A true highlight of our weekend away!!!

Lovely gift shop, ice cream parlour and cafe, all you could want and such lovely friendly staff. Dogs welcome even get a treat. Definately worth a visit

They have so many little things in there. Some rare finds. Got a beautiful tile for my wall. Very busy with ice cream and coffee. Nice team. Thank you guys 😘

Just been here and loved the rum and raisin ice cream. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.

We visited here with the kids after a day in the Arnside and Silverdale AONB (Leighton Moss and Jack Scout), we got a great ice cream here which we enjoyed on the pier opposite. Thunder and Lightening flavour (vanilla, cholcolate with cinder toffee, yum!). A beautiful outlook at Arnside accross to Grange over sands.

Love this little shop. Staff are very attentive and friendly especially the one with dark hair and funny eyebrows. Great banter xx

Called in today and grabbed an ice-cream. The staff are excellent and always look after my grandparents.

Great service always worth poping in for those little gifts great selection of cards and even have rocking horses. Don't forget the ice-cream and alcohol selection.

Lots of unusual things. Always come out with something when we visit Arnside. Very friendly staff. Prices are variable something for everyone really
