Best Western Heronston Hotel & Spa

For it being quite local it’s definitely the best around especially when you come across what they have to offer. Room prices are for standard considering the services they provide when you stay there. Food is good quality too and the rooms are perfectly tidy. Definitely will be staying again and the staff member at the front counter Rob was a delight to be greeted with. Would 100% recommend to any locals.

Nothing was too much trouble to make our stay a magical trip
They even gave us a birthday upgrade as returning customers!

Great staff, nice pint, nice restaurant, good value for money one down side children where only allowed In the pool 7am until 9am then 5pm till 7pm my son loved it so much he could of stayed in there all day. The only other down side was there where lots of rooms being worked on and instead of carpet there was protect sheets down. Will stay there again tho

Recently joined their leisure club. Although jacuzzi closed the pool, steam room and sauna are excellent.

My daughter 16 and I spent one night here travelled up from Bath as we were booked in to a trekking centre down the road . It was a perfect distance away (1 mile) also close to Bridgend where we went to eat out .
The receptionist on arriving was extremely friendly and helpful the reception area very nice.
As we we went to our room the decor and hotel was very clean it is being refurbished and the new part looks fab .
Our room was spotless and looked amazing with plenty of space .
We opted to eat out as wanted to explore the area but a nice bar and food area . The spa was an added bonus and we really enjoyed this .
Friendly staff at breakfast and this was also worth the money .
First time staying in a Great western and it was excellent. I will certainly come back here if I ever come again .

I was having a good time until I met my bartender.. And then I was having a great time! He would not hold back on that Bridgend hospitality😁 think his name was Adam maybe? Give that man a raise!

Although only rated a 3 star hotel, I feel this is a disservice as the hotel is modern and clean. Plenty of amenities such as pool/spa. We only had breakfast hut this was plentiful with cooked buffet, cereal & toast available.
Our room was huge, we booked a super king. Bed was comfortable, plenty of storage and modern bathroom with toiletries.

Came here with my daughter for afternoon tea and spa. The massage we both received was lovely, therapist was great. We had the pool to ourselves which was great. It was pretty quiet with it being a weekday. Afternoon tea was very tasty. Great value for money right on our doorstep

I stayed here a few weeks ago and definitely think this hotel should be scoring more than a 3.9 on Google!

The hotel looks a little dated from the outside but inside, it's very modern and the rooms are super comfortable. We stayed in the newer, refurbished part of the hotel which was dog friendly.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful! Our dog was only allowed in the bar area and staff were more than happy to arrange for a breakfast area to be set up for us in the morning!

I highly recommend staying! Very close to South Wales beaches and a retail park close by for food.

Great location, approx 4 miles from Trecco Bay. Lovely big family room ( 2 adults and 2 children 9 & 12.) Very clean and lots of towels. Breakfast was fab and so was the swimming pool.

Absolutely beautiful place. Staff all so friendly and genuinely look happy in their jobs. They can't do enough for you. The spa was amazing. Highly recommend. The rooms were newly decorated and were lovely and so clean. Breakfast was also lovely and hot. Overall I would be hard pushed to find a problem 🤔

The hotel from the outside is deceiving as it looks a little dated and run down, however the recent refurbishments are a huge success. We had a superior room and it was absolutely lovely, very clean and smelt lovely. The bed and chairs were really comfortable and the bathroom was great. A lovely large TV with freeview meant we were able to relax. The bar is being refurbished so there was a temporary bar which we didn't use. Location wise it is right next to a local shopping village. Overall a lovely stay 👍🏻

WELL WHAT CAN I SAY! WHAT AN AMAZING PLACE WE COME HERE FOR OUR DAUGHTERS 8TH BIRTHDAY. THE PLACE AND STAFF WAS FANTASTIC. THE STAFF/ ROB BEN MAVIST MILES AND MOST OF ALL HAYLEY MADE OUR DAUGHTERS BIRTHDAY GREAT. AND TO TOP IT OFF OUR CHILD Received A BIRTHDAY CARD Chocolate AND A FREE ICE CREAM WHEN THE STAFF BRANG HER CAKE OUT. 5 STAR FROM ME 100%

Stayed in November for a wedding nearby so just a stop off but the hotel was bright and clean, very friendly staff and the deluxe room we booked was really lovely. Breakfast was great too and again the staff were very helpful and welcoming.

Always have a great time here. Staff are really attentive.

We had a 'bereavement tea' at the Heronston hotel and I have to say the staff could not have been more helpful, flexible and friendly. In all the stress of arranging a funeral I forgot to mention the dietary requirements of a couple of our guests, but there was no hesitation in providing additional food for them on request.
Two sets of guests stayed overnight at the hotel and reported being very happy with their rooms and the very comfy beds.
When 20 of us arrived the evening prior to the event for a meal, without any booking or advanced warning, we had lovely food and a great pre-funeral get together that helped to ease the pressure on the day itself.
The excellent vegan menu and free car charging point were also very much appreciated. We were so pleased with everything the Heronston had to offer - thanks to all the staff.

We were guests for a weekend party. So a joyous event seeing family and friends after such a long time apart. The hotel staff are where the hotels strength lies, from a lovely warm welcome, and flexible helpful approach at the front desk when we checked in and realised we were one extra than expected; to breakfast where Michel was particularly brilliant giving my elderly mother the five star treatment every morning. Everyone was a credit to the hotel. Our room was beautiful and clean. The Hotel is being refurbished in stages at the moment and when it’s finished it’ll be something special I’m sure, I look forward to visiting again and seeing it look as splendid as this hotel
makes you feel.

We had a recent stay , the hotel itself was excellent and the staff couldn't have done any more to accommodate us , the food in the restaurant was superb as was the treatments we had at the spa . Overall exceeded our expectations, will definitely be going back .

ABSOLUTELY LOVED THIS HOTEL AND OUR STAY. Staff were very nice and couldn't do enough for us. Facilities were clean and the pool was especially beautiful. Breakfast was lovely and a shout out to the gentleman that served/looked after us this morning. My daughter loved her pancakes 🥞 Our family will definitely be coming back 🙂. Thank you all
