Didn't eat. Great little bar just outside Margate town about 10 to 15 min walk. Local ales, gin etc. Independent like a lot of the local bars in the town.

Proper old school micropub.

Long and narrow with the far end (closest to the bar) decorated with countless pumpclips this is a terrific homely boozer.

Only a couple of casks on, on the Tuesday night of my visit but the J J Cale and electric blues was a great accompaniment.

Love this little place. My first visit with my good friends Andrew and Amanda. I had a beer in there - Shivering Sands? I thought it was called Shimmering Sands. Whatever the name, it was awesome!

Nice micropub, with a lot of space inside, looks like its just reopening and 'dusting down the cobwebs' with a gradual restart. We visited early on a Wednesday evening so perhaps not representative of the new normal. Seating inside and out, nice old maps in the walls, dry hops hanging. We will definitely go back in a few weeks when its properly up and running

A wonderful little ale and cider establishment and of course they also serve various other rather nice drinks.
They also have very good theme nights often with good music.
The customers are always friendly and chatty so a place I would definitely recommend.

Woah I didn't expect this when I decided to sit down and have a rest at your Mirco Pub.

I was expecting copper pipes and people with white coats ,but I was Blown Away.

As I walked into the door that was it I felt at home. Every thing that has made me happy in my 60 years .There was a good atmosphere as I hobbled into the next room and there was plenty of music and I felt like a wee boy in a sweet shop . I thought Rhubarb cider and a glass water would be ok. Nicola said that she would bring it outside the smile on her face, brought a tear to these old eyes.

It was just nice to take in the people who felt safe and looked after . When I went into to take my glasses back , I was overwhelmed with love and thanks.
It is such a wonderful feeling to interact with like minded people.

Cheers J and N . I will be back .
