I had a quick meal here waiting to see someone in Westgate. I liked the homely atmosphere and the friendly staff. Food was nice as well.

I would definitely recommend this place. The food was really good and plentiful. The service was quick and staff were friendly. The bar/restaurant itself was very welcoming.

Chanced upon this place on a spontaneous day revisiting my childhood at Westgate
People who know me know I’m a major cook and foodie and critical , but, had THE best cauliflower cheese soup in history It was like a hug ! Far exceeded expectations
Now to revisit Mildred’s Bay and the other eaterie which I will def use for an upcoming family occasion.
Make sure you visit!

Lovely referb, delicious freshly made scones with all the trimmings, lovely choice of cake, the bar lady was super attentive and lovely and welcoming ! Nice atmosphere buggy and child friendly is a big bonus to us mum's. Look forward to going here more often .

Haven't been in here for ages, so imagine my surprise to see how the place has been so stylishly renovated. Loved it and frlt very comfortable there.Only problem, it was really busy and waited ages to be finally served. Maybe a victim of its own success...?

Just had a really lovely chilled out dinner with my husband. Two very friendly young staff who were so kind and attentive. They obviously knew some of the customers and it was lovely to see such friendly interactions. Great food. Lovely space. I would think it would be a lovely place for a quick lunch or a coffee as well. Definitely recommend.

We've been here several times for breakfast & it's been great every time.
They source their meat from a local butcher ( RC wale) and it shows.

Three of us and little dog went for breakfast! Paul and his staff were so welcoming and friendly. We had a superb breakfast, with everything cooked beautifully and even a treat for our dog!! Would definitely recommend.
