I was so lucky today to have the privilege of drinking great real ales straight from the cask in this magnificent real al house 2 minutes from Westgate on sea train station
A small "snug type pub serving 7 cask ales
The locals in this pub are true locals. "" they are friendly with a proper sense of 1980s sense of humour.
This pubs owner is a top banana who is the hub of the And says it has it is.😁👍
This pub is in the top 20 pubs that sell real ales I've ever visited, and if I lived in Westgate, it would be MY LOCAL

This is not an eatery. There are crisps, peanuts and possibly a pork pie but, it is the best micro pub in the whole of Thanet. There is always a varied selection of real ales plus a good range of ciders. You also have an excellent choice of spirits, mixers and soft drinks for children. This is a dog friendly establishment with a good amount of outdoor seating. DONT MISS THIS!!!

Absolutely smashing micropub! Never a dull night! Landlord is a top bloke, all in all, simply simply lovely.
New opening hours are also a hit.
Every week is like a beer festival.
Always plenty of choice, from local breweries.

Oh my word.... just about perfect as a Micropub, with great Ales. Well kept and a warm welcome. What else do you need. The warm welcome is from the locals as long as the landlord.... the beer is great & I'm sure all the wine & spirits are too. If we are back in the area we will be back in this bar!

What can I say that everyone who has passed through here hasn't said. It is a magical place that turns the time you are there into your soul. Thank you so much.
oh, of course, super good beer!

Superb beer . Great service with drinks being taken to the outside table by a gentleman of indeterminate age . The landlord insisted that he was his dad . My wife enjoyed the recommendation of the Red cider . Perfectly described and deliciously tart , it sharpened her tongue for the way home . Regular customers are delightful and full of information about the town and other obscure facts . The toilet is immaculate . A pleasure to visit this little haven of good beer , good camaraderie and a good bog .

Nice, friendly little micropub. Fairly established now, it has a great range of ales and ciders which change regularly. Quirky and friendly with good prices at £3.20 a pint upwards

Superb micropub serving an ever changing rota of expertly kept real ales sourced from Kent and beyond. There's also a nice selection of real ciders. If you or you significant other prefer something a little stronger there is a nice selection of premium spirits and mixers. All in all this pub is well worth a visit with everything served with love, with John the landlord keeping a close eye on proceedings.

Simply, simply lovely.

What a great find. Lovely beer at very reasonable prices unlike the rest of Thanet. Locals really friendly. Pork pie was excellent with no horrible jelly. Shame we didn't discover this at the start of our holiday. We will be back. 👍

oh yes, a great pub, really friendly, stunning ales and has a beer room not a bar! A real unique pub and a must visit if in town. Quirky - that it is: long may pubs with character and charm continue

A small micro pub run by a larger than life landlord. Great beer, Brill customers, good craic and, without doubt, the bestest pub in Thanet - nay - Kent. You gotta visit here...

It's tiny with a huge character.
Always a good selection of beers on offer.

The meat raffle is great! Who doesn't love a good bit of sausage?!
