Lower Lliw Reservoir Cafe & Fishery

Lovely Easter Sunday walk with the dog. Haven't been here in ages and was still lovely. Loads of people walking their dogs and so lovely to see the new little lambs. Coffee shop for end of walk too.

Great walk for kids and adults alike. Dogs should be kept on leads due to grazing sheep although we didnt see any on our walk. It's a fair way to the upper reservoir for kids but it's possible and a road the whole way.

With this in mind keep an eye out for cars although they tend to go slowly knowing there will be walkers and we only saw a couple.

Food in the cafe is nice too!

What a gem of a cafe in a great location, great food good prices ,a lovely log burner and two great ladies running it. Went for a walk around the lakes came back but left lights on van battery flat . Ladies in cafe didn't hesitate to help phoned a relative who came and started it for us couldn't thank them enough fantastic service very kind.

What a hidden gem, called in today and super excited they have vegan options 🌱 from plant based milks, vegan breakfasts, panini’s, hummus, soups, ice cream and chocolate brownies which by the way tasted amazing 💚 what a treat in beautiful surroundings.
The owner was really lovely and for sure will be back, made my day, thank you

Lovely place for a walk. Really well paved trails and two different ecosystems - forest and moorland. Stunning views of the lliw Valley. Nice Cafe for a spot of coffee or lunch.

Great place for a lovely walk. Long sections of path are wheelchair and pushchair accessible. Other paths nearer waters edge narrower and more challenging.
Toilets available in car park next to cafe.

The cafe wasn't open but it was nice to walk around the reservoir

Absolutely beautiful and got lovely cards and gifts for a wedding in May

Beautiful place. Visited both during rain and shine. The Autumn colours are spectacular.
Loop of the lower reservoir is approx 2 miles but feels much longer with a toddler in tow!
The woodland path is gradually being surfaced with gravel which has removed the majority of trip hazards from tree roots. It is advisable to keep an eye on small children as the path runs close to the water's edge in places.
Nice cafe serving hot food, coffee, cake and ice cream as a reward afterwards.
A £2.50 parking charge has recently been introduced, contributes towards upkeep.

Picturesque walk, great cafe for takeaway drinks and food if you want it. Toilet facilities excellent. Lovely walk to upper reservoir. Great views Xx

First time to visit here. Honestly it was a beautiful walk sun shining. Then a short visit at the lovely cafe where staff were friendly, helpful and efficient. Highly recommended

We Swansea Ramblers do short also long walks around the two reservoirs.
The cafe is truly excellent. Though is a small parking free

Gorgeous location. Excellent value freshley cooked food. Great place for a quick coffee or relaxing lunch. £2.50 to park all day and enjoy the beautiful walks . Play area for children too

Beautiful area with super scenery.. a great place for a walk or run. There's a cafe and shop on site too which caters for all.. the breakfast is very tasty and the price is reasonable. There's even ice cream for thr kids or your pets..
The lliw has always been a super place to escape the city...

Lovely walks and just a nice little place escape the rat race. Nice cafe on site really friendly staff. Find the take away coffees a bit on the expensive side £2.20 for the tiny cup you actually get (only bad point I can think of) there is a little gift shop attached to the cafe also.

Lovely place. Good tea and sausage sarnies.
