St Elvan's Church, Aberdare

Beautiful church. One of the tallest structures for many miles. It's beautifully renovated inside and out. An absolute landmark of the town. Nice cafe inside

Flunking lovely time I had there with the missus once. I was there prayings to tha' Lord. When suddenly, Jesus Harold Christ 'imself, bust though one of the stained window. He says to me, "Psalm 31:24 - Be strong, and let your heart take courage, all you who wait for the Lord!". Then he delivers a hasty left jab to me liver. But I am a drinker of 60 years, and me liver is invincible perty much. I grabs his arm, and snapped his malnourished forearm in three. Soon after, the police came and arrested me. My trial for assault and battery of a Vietnam vet is next Sunday. Praise the Lord, Sleep, Eat, Xylophone. #BLESSED #CHRISTIAN4LIFE

Visited for a performance by Mid Wales Opera. Received a warm welcome. They have a cosy cafe.

Lovely church with virtual tours (just scan the code)of the church and the stain glass windows also has a coffee shop. The church has many other things going on like crafts, ukulele playing and other events.

This is a beautiful place and first visit today I was so impressed with how welcoming it is, and how beautiful it is.

Great coffee shop and informed they always try to have a few varieties of plant milk available for vegans and people with lactose issues.

Even as non Christian I felt at home and walked in to hear one of the group's that use church music lesson. They had stunning recycled art and they havel gift art for sale, and display of church regalia.

Definitely felt that you could talk to people at coffee shop etc as well as sitting quietly for reflective time.

Good disabled access with parking, ramp at entrance and disabled toilet.

The cathedral of the Valleys well worth a visit have a coffe and relax

Inside the church is beautiful, has a lovely cafe with plenty of seating and offers a good venue for meetings.

What a lovely, bright, welcoming place! Really enjoyed our Workshop there. Everyone was so helpful and kind. The Cafe is great. The Exhibition area up stairs is fab and really interesting.

This church in the centre of Aberdare has recently benefited from a restoration, there is also a new cafe with some delicious cakes, well worth a visit
