You can walk on to the rifle range and Burlish Top nature reserve from Blackstone Picnic area simply by crossing the main road by the traffic lights and heading up the public footpath and till you go under the bridge. See the pics. Then turn right and go up the track. Follow the path over the top of Burlish Top and down onto the Severn Valley Rail line and onto the rifle range, if you’re brave climb the Devil’s Spitlefield and marvel at the free views of the Safari park and see steam trains chuffing past on the SVR. Wild cows wander and graze below. Just go and experience this place.

Lovely caravan and motorhome site next door. There are no toilet/shower block on the camp site so you need your own facilities. But really close to Bewdley so ideal for West Midlands Safari Park and Seven Valley Steam Railway.

Great place to park, for free, as theres several good scenic walking routes nearby. You can stroll down to the river, which takes you into either Stourport or Bewdley, & you'll pass the alpacas in the next field, that belongs to the caravan site. My favourite spot is the Blackstone Rock itself, it's a fantastic walk, into Ribbesford. Or you could cross over the road, from the carpark & walk down the rough track, onto Rifle Range, and Burlish Top Nature Reserve, where there's plenty to see. When in season, there's the most beautiful poppy fields, but if they're not in bloom, there's always plenty more that's definitely worth seeing, whatever season it may be. You could also go for a nice picnic on the site, on one of the benches, as the name suggests.

A secret little gem of a place with short and long walks for all. You can walk along the river into Bewdley or take walks across the road into the nature reserve.

Great place to park for walks around Bewdley.
One of our favourites is the Wribbesford route, which takes you up to the church & then on up the hill and back around to Bewdley town, where you can then enjoy an ice-cream from the ice-cream shop or some classic sweeties from Teddy Gray's - a local sweetie company in the Black Country.

Good sized free car park, less than 200 from river. Nice walk into Bewdley Town from there (not wheel chair friendly)

It's a place to park your car. Hardstanding for car. Grass for kids. Picnic bench.... Walk to wherever you want to. We went to Bewdley. On a bank holiday. 3 miserable kids. Nowhere to sit. Long queues. Crazy!

Free parking area. We park here and walk into Bewdley. Always spaces. Walk along the river is picturesque and flat. Note there are signs that say when the parking closes the gates so follow these to not get locked in.
