Had a nice walk around the park, lots to see. Quite quiet when I went, the house was looking lovely. All the flowers and trees looking beautiful. Lots of animals in the farm area, really nice place. £7.20 to park, buy the ticket from the kiosk, go back to your car to display then free entry. I didn't go to every part of the park.

I thought the parking to be a tad on the expensive side. However, that being said, when you consider the work necessary to continually maintain the sprawling grounds and gardens, not to mention the huge expense of renovations to the building itself, one kind of feels that the parking fee is going to a worthy cause. Even when it's busy, you just don't notice it due to the expanse of the property, plenty of time, and no rush to explore. There is a cafe, shop, toilets and eating area to the east of the castle and other attractions to see. Well worth a visit.

Luminate is the best Christmas lights in Wales if you ask us. And we go to a lot. First slot of the session is the best - quieter and less queues for food.

Great day out. It was £7.20 for car parking, but we spent all day here walking around the grounds. Got to see the deer and farm animals. Ride a train use the go karts, play giant chess and draughts. It is so beautiful here on a sunny day it is so picturesque. The kids love the park and the open space to run, kick a ball around and Climb trees. And then use the play park’s at no point do I have my feet hurt which is a bonus for me

Wonderful walks, lots to look at and plenty of space for the kids to run off some steam. Nice play area, beautiful gardens and some lovely gifts in the church and shops. Really enjoyed our afternoon there.

The castle grounds were amazing, farm animals were lovely and the play parks suited older kids. Plenty of space to run and shout. Biking or taking a petalo would help speed up long journey, but a gentle stroll was perfect for a large family. Personally next time I would bring a packed lunch as the cafe is very expensive for what it is, save your money and grab a welsh ice cream instead, you wont regret it.

We attended the Luminate event here last year, it was so good we booked again for this year. The weather was a bit rubbish, but that is something you can't control. The park all lit up was fantastic! The music and fairies and all the little extra bits were loved by all, we even stopped for a hotdog, cookies and to roast some marshmallows, lots of fun for all.

New Years Day 2023, a rather grey start to the year.

All buildings were closed, so we enjoyed the formal gardens, species trees, ruined abbey, orangery, faux mausoleum, ornamental lake, glasshouse, abstract statuary, and the magnificent gothic pile of a house.

second time visiting for a superhero day with grandchildren. So much to see and do. Play areas, café, picnic areas. Definitely worth a visit with the kids or to enjoy a nice walk with the dog and take in the views.

Lovely venue for families, plenty of room to run & spread out! Had a picnic in the grounds but there was food & drink available. Went for the Dinosaur experience with family & 3 year old grandson, all had a lovely day & facilities were acceptable considering how busy it was.

My partner and I went to the light trail display at Margam Castle and it was lovely. The trail took about 90 minutes to complete and it was really beautiful and very festive! We would recommend it to families or adults as an evening out doing something a bit different. Even the rain didn't put a dampener on the evening.

Wow what an amazing place, great for a day out, there is a cafe there if you dont take a picnic and it is a dog friendly site.
And for those who play Pokemon Go there are lots of Poka-stops, Poka-gyms and Pokemon to catch.

We went to Margam Park to see Luminate light show on Christmas eve. Could not see much of the Park as it was dark. What we could see was very impressive, and we will be back to walk around in day time.
The light show we all loved. It was excellent. The walk was fun and full of surprises. Would recommend a visit if you have not seen it. Well catered with refreshments along route.
