Tynycoed Surgery

Massive thank you to Jacqueline the receptionist at Tynycoed Surgery, who went out of her way to get me my prescription that I urgently needed to get, before the Easter bank Holiday.
Thanks to Jacqueline, I got my medication and felt so much better. I honestly don't know how I would have managed, if I didn't have my medication.

Just like to say all the nurses at Tynycoed surgery are brilliant , 5 stars..But as of today 24/12/2023 i have been waiting 11weeks for a telephone consultation ftom Dr Richards , I have tried and tried to get an appointment / telephone call but no such luck ,even when I've spoke to your reception at 8.15am ,No Appointments .At the moment I've given up . God help me .

I had my first face to face appointment with Dr Penry today, from being greeted in reception to the actual appointment, everyone was very polite , welcoming and all together an excellent service. I suffer with stress and anxiety and was put at ease straight away , thank you to all the staff there today.

Difficult to get through very busy. However, the doctor had a lot of time for me and was extremely caring

Never had a problem. My late partner was an amputee and had other problems and he always saw a Dr the same day or next day. They diagnosed my cancer on my FIRST visit and the treatment I had after was fantastic. I find the Drs all have empathy and don't rush appointments, they take their time. I moved from England 2 years ago and believe me this practice is ten times better (you wait 2 weeks there to get an appointment!!!)

My wife & I had our covid vaccinations this morning,well organised system at T'yn y coed in and out in a jiffy great staff too!

Very good surgery very helpful plenty of docs and nurses,
You have to continuously ring at 8am for a morning appointment

Good Medical Practice, with prompt booking service. Staff are all polite friendly.

Very supportive.

Everything geared to the Cov19 pandemic

Really informative receptionist on the front desk. Dr Foley is a brilliant doctor! She was so helpful and understanding and didn't make me feel as if I was just being shaken off or passed from pillar to post like I've felt at previous doctors surgery. Only downside is only being able to have phone appointments when I have limited access to a phone in work.
