Amazing cakes and samosas. Visited for the first time last week. Happily helped me out a box of sweets together and I went back the same day for some samosas. Good prices. I recommend the flapjack (I didn’t try the others but good reviews!), Bakewell tarts, jam donuts.

Nice bakery near Ethel Road and Evington area and very nice staff 👍 and you can ask for a save your favourite food for pick up before sold out over the phone. A good range of samosa sandwiches freshly baked cobs jam doughnuts wrap and pie I'm very glad to have Bakery like this

This little bakery in Leicester is proper old fashioned bonus is its halal too - fresh cream doughnuts, eclairs, apple turnovers & vanilla slices we bought a variety of slices all delicious would recommend.

Best place to get food late at night, give a call and place yourself an order for an egg roll - they put mushrooms, tomatoes in it also. If this isn’t wanted you can ask to remove this. Takes around 20 minutes to prepare but it’s honestly worth the try!!

Small bakery but the pies and pastry are delicious. There were sweet and savoury snacks and good for vegetarian or halal eaters.

The best cheapest bakery in Leicester I love how they make everything fresh and delicious, hey do yourself a favour and go try their freshly made burgers With freshly made buns 😋 omg and their taste desserts, trust me go try it and thank me later 😉

Very friendly staff. Good variety of cakes sandwiches and breads. You can see the bakers so you know everyone is appropriately dressed and everything is clean and tidy. Great value for money too.

Delicious fresh food

I used to go to the Narborough Road branch many moons ago on my dinner break, so today i took my husband to the one in Evington. The food is still exactly how I remembered it absolutely gorgeous. You cant beat the Chicken salad, mayonnaise sandwich with a warm meat roll. The staff are really friendly, I would deffo reccomend.

I just have to thank you for always making my day better with your delicious cakes. My favourite is chocolate muffin square & ice fingers! Honestly the cakes make all the difference!

Fantastic bakery. Well worth the visit, fresh bread and cakes baked daily that taste amazing. Brilliant service and delicious food.

Umm this place is legendary when it comes to the bakery items, i highly recommend a visit to try out some of the items the sell, truat me ypu wont be disappointed.

Bakeries are a dying breed, however this one has bucked the downward trend and has consistently produced quality fare.

I remember going to the Ethel Bakery on London Road over a decade ago and buying some lunchtime pre-prepared kebab rolls, sandwiches, samosas, cakes and other made to order goodies. Good for a quick bite at lunch if your in the area or if u want to take something home.

They also do amazing cornflake tarts.
Others make it very 'treacley' which is not to my personal taste but this one is just right with the cornflakes mashed up into small bits.
Mmm.

They do say consistency is key and these guys have mastered it. I've never known them to change recipe or any alteration to the flavour.

If there is something negative to say it's only that they could do with a shop makeover. Personally I think it all adds to the charm of the place.

So as u can see they get a big thumbs up from me. :)

A small family owned bakery. Their freshly baked goods blow every other greggs/ waitrose/ tescos' out of the water. Would highly recommend their Apple & Jam turnover, be sure to ask for it to be heated up and add fresh whipped cream inside. Luxury items at peasant prices

Have knocked on the back door many a time at 2 or 3 am to be greeted by friendly blokes and piping hot pasties.

We usually stand and devour said savoury treats on paper plates with optional garnish of chilli sauce.
