Luxurious interiors! Excellent Service! Lip smacking food! We had a great time with family and friends. Everything we ordered was perfectly cooked and delicious. I love their Hariyali chicken. I found it with the same taste what we had at their Birmingham branch years back. We'll definitely recommend it to everyone. Thanks to your staff, everyone was very helpful ☺

Visiting UK from Houston TX. Went to this restaurant with my cousins. It's a massive place but very well maintained and clean. Very good service and quality food choices. Tried a couple of different things. BBQ platter and pishwari chicken is a must

Nice food, good portions and lovely interior design of the restaurant. It feels like a high end hotel's restaurant. The service was great, good attention to details. The waiter wore gloves all the time and brought heated napkins at the start and at the end of the service. They also welcomed changes to dishes that pleases customers which was very much appreciated. There were a couple of times it was difficult to call the waiter in the room as he was checking his phone. Chicken tikka and watermelon juice were delicious.
It was overall a great experience.

Every time I've come I've had a very good experience. There is rarely a wait for a table, even during the busy periods. The staff are polite and efficient which was great too.

We came as a large group and ordered various dishes and there wasn't a complaint about any of them, the food was pretty nice like usual.

Great dining experience! Loved the decor and the service was brilliant, staff were friendly and very attentive . Food was brought out very quickly. Could tell it was all fresh, everything tasted amazing and the portions were massive! Definitely get a lot for your money. Took half of it home and it will last another couple of meals!
Ordered a jug of mango lassi, which was fresh, not out of a bottle, fish pakoras and lamb chops, ghosht biriani, one of the lamb curries, garlic and keema naan (they were proper sized naan), mango and passion fruit cheesecake and gulab jamun, which were hot with ice cream. All the food was amazing.
The one negative is that they call it majestic, but most of the guys, customers, were in jogging bottoms and trainers, some were wearing baseball caps. A recommendation is to impliment a dress code befitting the place. It's a bit odd when the waiting staff are in white shirts wearing ties, the venue is so beautiful, and a lot of the customers look like they've just come from the gym.

A beautiful place with excellent decor. Went there few years bk for my hubby’s birthday then now after few years for surprise birthday for my lovely friend. All of us thoroughly had a wonderful time! I found it very very spicy as I don’t eat spicy food at all but my all friends loved it! 🎂👍👏😊

Great Indian food, good recommendation from staff on dishes to order.
Good portion size of all the dishes. The samosas for starters were huge!
Service was a little slow, had to ask for drinks order, food order and then drinks refills.

Attended for a private birthday party. The interior decor is stunning and absolutely worth the experience. Service and cleanliness to a high standard. the food itself, very flavoursome from veg to meat dishes. I'd recommend visiting for both food and the decor and experience.

Stopped by this place after a long drive, great food and the atmosphere was relaxed. Loved the decor, with lots of painting of old Indian mughals. Service was really great by server Anwin. Would recommend to try this place.

Heard so much about this place, I was not disappointed with our experience. A very large Indian restaurant. Very spacious and beautiful decor. Staff are very friendly and pleasant with uniform looking very professional. Seating area was very pleasant, with ample space for our group of 7 people. The menu has a wide range of food to cater for all palettes. We ordered some popadom with chutney and starter chop/kebab mix, mango lassi, drinks and a variety of special mains dishes from chicken, meat, biryani, tiger prawns, lentils, sag curry etc. The drinks and starters came very quickly. They were hot and tasty. When we requested more chutney we got it. Mains came straight after the staff had cleared all starter plates and gave us clean plates and cutlery. The mains food were very good portions, hot, fresh and tasty. We all enjoyed our starters and mains. We ordered ice cream desert and ended the whole evening experience with the mint chocolate at the end. A great evening, lovely atmosphere/place and fantastic food. A restaurant worth visiting if you are in Leicester.

Big car park, inside decor is pretty fancy to be honest, plenty of space for seating but always a good idea to book first as it does get busy. The food was good quality and portion size, service was good and friendly worth a visit.

First of all, my only criticism is that I made a 100 mile journey to get to this place, only to be told by the parking attendant that there was no parking in their car park. I told the attendant that I wasn't local and needed somewhere safe to park but no help given. In the end I had to park on the main road but feel they could have done more to help.

Once inside I liked the unique setting and layout of the restaurant. You could see the open kitchen with everyone cooking away and on the opposite side you see the customers dining away. There was also a prayer room both for men and women. Only downside was that the lights inside the prayer room were on sensors so if there was no movement, the room went pitch black as I was on my own at the time. To the management of the restaurant, you need to change the timing of the sensors.

To the food, wow we ordered mixed starters which consisted of seek kebabs both chicken and lamb. Followed by chicken botis, lamb chops, fish pakora and papri chaat. All came piping hot except for the chaat which is supposed to be served cold. :) The service was very consistent throughout our stay and all the staff were very friendly even though they were very busy.

For our mains we had Karahi Gosht, Karahi Murgh, Nihari Gosht and lamb biryani. All were full of flavour and the naans were so nice and soft but also had that crispy bite to it. I would highly recommend anyone to try Tipu Sultan in Leicester as it was well worth the 100 mile trip for me. We had a nice family get together for my Sister in Law's birthday and both kids/adults thoroughly enjoyed the evening.

Well done to all the staff for the quick service and making our evening so enjoyable.

I’ve been here a few times but took a friend who had never been before (we travelled 2 hours to get here). When I mentioned to the manager that my friend was a first timer, he went above and beyond to make sure it was an unforgettable experience for us.

An absolutely brilliant experience all round. The welcome, the decor, the service, food and the hospitality all impeccable and faultless. Kudos to Tipu Sultan showing everyone else how it should be done. Not a single bad word to say.

Plenty of staff and chefs in this well-managed restaurant with every person having a fixed job role. From the car parking attendant to the receptionists’ guidance to your seating, an attentive waiter/waitress and separate chefs serving the food.

Hand wipes, poppadoms and dips soon as you are seated. The waiter was on hand to answer any questions. Hand wipes provided between every course, food was excellent in taste and served beautifully.

The decoration inside the restaurant is absolutely amazing. Cannot comment on the washroom as I never used it, but definitely recommend this Indian restaurant.

The decor is great And the atmosphere is really good too

Very busy every time I go which is normally a sign that it’s a good place to eat

And

Hands down one of the best Indian food places I’ve been too. Full of flavour they don’t just ram loads of chillis in. Great portion sizes too

The Fish pakora are amazing as a starter. Have this every time I go so please do try them.

I’ve been loads of times now and take my mates here too. Never had a bad dish yet

Always rave about this place to everyone so next time you want a curry. Go try the best !!

Keep cooking the amazing dishes !!

Absolutely loved the Birmingham branch! So had to visit .Came here after a long day of shopping. Car park was full by half 5 which is kind of a good thing as it shows how quick the restaurant gets packed. From walking in we were welcomed and greeted straight away led to a table. Once sat down we recieved our menus a few minutes later our order was taken. Absolutely loved the mixed grill everything was cooked to perfection! Had my favourite starter Samosa Chaat it was faultless so spicy and beautiful! Main order Lamb Handi the meat just melted in your mouth the Naans were so fresh and light sometimes Naan is so thick and heavy these were perfect! Finished of the night with a biscoff sundae! If your looking for proper Pakistani food would highly recommend eating here. Waiters and waitress came over a few times to check if everything was okay best thing they dont come whilst you have a mouthful of food lol 😆. Everything thing was absolutely perfect 100%. Im fussy about my food and I have nothing negative to say!!! Prices are fair everything is fresh and you can taste that in the quality of the food!

So..... We popped into Tipu Sultan (Spontaneous decision 😁) my husband, 4 children and I. Wow!!

The service was impeccable. Staff professional and courteous, Food was served fresh and piping hot within 10mins.

Kids were fascinated with the decor and all the pictures around the restaurant.

We ordered what you see in the pictures (Naans, Keema Naan, Sheekh Kebabs, Achari Lamb, Keema Samosa, and Papri Chaat) everything was delicious and by the end of it we were all stuffed and satisfied.

The food was cooked to perfection with and the taste was spot on (we went for very HOT on the Achari Lamb).

Popped into the ladies (as you do) 🤣

I was shocked. It was so clean and there was a beaten copper bath tub (HUGE) used as a big sink (see the last pics). The doors were heavy solid wood. And it was seriously clean and smelt fresh.

If you haven't been to Tipu Sultan in Oadby definitely DEFINITELY don't hesitate, there are man dishes for all palates.

Can't wait to visit again. ☺

Definitely visit this place again.
